I'm probably the only one who plans how I'd save my stuff in an emergency. I've been through more than my share of natural disasters and evacuations, so maybe it's to be expected. I highly recommend having a wonderful friend with a motor home, if at all possible. Also a bag with important papers, toiletries, change of clothes, and any medications.
