We go back up north to buy more water damage car, but at the same time we check out wrecked cars. We wanted to buy a flooded corvette but it didn't work out. We check out a camper and win it and also we buy a Porsche. Thanks for all the support, let us know what else to check out.

I have been watching you guys buy these flood cars too much! Ended up buying a 2014 BMW 328xi at IAAI for a steal. No water damage inside or under the carpets. Had it running in about 2 hours after removing plugs and changing the oil, and turning the engine over by hand to make sure there was no water left in the cylinders. Sometimes the gamble pays off. Problem with flood damaged cars is if the water got high enough to get into the pistons via intake or exhaust, and some guy tries to start them, it can hydro-lock and bend rods.

It seems like Chambersburg pa lot has some really nice flood cars deserving of being back on the road..I just can't beleive what they are going for even flooded..I been bidding one them the past 2 or 3 weeks n just between fees n transport n everything beyond that my gp wouldn't b much..but I'm determined to get something...I'm only like 2 hrs away from there just trying to find time to go there is crazy..

Fancy things like Corvettes are fun to look at, but probably best to stick mostly with the grocery-getters because at the end of the day, that's what most people need. Also, Corvette buyers are notoriously picky about salvage title, non-original parts, etc. It's like a cult.

Is big risk. Even the engine will be running, is not for long. Crankshaft on contact with water will be bend and you gonna be in trouble when you sold this cars
