BTS Video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKXXimWHlrGnaNk I hope you could tell what was going on. here's what the plot was about if it didn't make any sense to you~ its everyone vs the flood. but the arbiter gets mad at the Prophet for not caring about team killing while he's trying to shoot the flood. so he considers whether or not he should save him in the ending. This was kind of a test run for some aerial combat I was going to do in another project. this is basically my first time seriously animating mega bloks figures and I really rushed some parts to hit the deadline. so some of this I got rekt at. lot to improve on.

YO HOLY SHIT! How epic is the shot from 1:18? All of this is so dynamic with the camera movement all the airborne objects and the fluent stop-motion! The story came across too. This is truly insane.

I didn’t even know this kind of thing was possible with stop-motion… wow… just wow. You sir, have definitely made something spectacular and special. All the green screen usage and other 3D animation I guess? was super well integrated and the shots were so dynamic. Not to mention the overall smooth and expressive animation. You’re gonna crush the competition dude! (If possible I would like to get a behind the scene or some tips on how you did this aerial combat masterpiece)

Im glad if the 3D background looked well integrated. cuz I had no idea how to use any fancy 3D animation programs. so I went into ROBLOX, loaded in a skybox, pressed screen record and turned my head around with the mouse trying to manually match it up to what was happening in my animation hahaha

It's all so well done with a LOT of different techniques and effects. I am guessing there is some green screen, masking, back projection, VFX and physical FX. The audio is superb and the action flows so well. You mentioned it being rushed but, if that's the case, it's not noticeable as the pacing is fantastic. Not sure if you used any camera tracking or simply matched the foreground movement with the background. Regardless, stunning piece of work.

This one took a bit over 2 weeks. 2:04 - 3:14 I made in one day, cuz it was the last day to the deadline. thats why its just a white background & the framerate drops a ton. cuz I rushed that part like crazy xd
