Never know what you’ll get with a flood car. Customer bought car here in Colorado. Was a Texas flood car. Customer concern no audio output. When checking head unit connectors found heavy corrosion throughout it. That’s $1600 just for the bulk harness not including labor. God know what other problems that car will have.

Nice buy! You are definitely in the green with this one. The engine’s solid too, it didn’t clatter at all even though it had been sitting awhile. Lariat package is great too. That’s the last year for the 1 st gen engine and desirable 6 speed auto transmission 👍

"They say it (flood water) got inside, but I think it's good." Words that you may come to regret. When an insurance company totals out a vehicle, and a salvage title is issued in all but two states, such a vehicle is really only good for some parts. Caveat emptor.

They would immediately know but when you are flipping vehicles for a living it’s cheaper to just try it first and if it runs just leave those possible future issues for the new owners.

I would remove both dipsticks and oil cap filler and let truck idle for 30 min or so. Having these items removed allows moisture to evaporate

Many of them have vehicles they only drive on their property. There are "farm and ranch" publications - and probably websites - where you could list it for sale.

Being that it's a flood vehicle I'd say the actual value of the truck with the current miles is around 15000 retail, but a dealer would beat the hell out of you in trade in value, definitely a good truck.

Good videos, I watch just about all your videos, but always question your thoughts when buying and selling flood vehicles! One of my job duties at a GM and Ford combo dealerships was finding water leaks on new and used vehicles they were not flooded! One thing I learned was water damage can be an issue years down the road! I don’t agree with your thinking on this truck! If water got in the exhaust it can damage the cats and abs connections, and several other issues ! since it was salt water selling a vehicle with that knowledge is risky for the buyer and ?? for the sellers! That truck really should be parts truck because of the level of salt water 💦
