Floodwater Barbel On The River Wye

It has been a particularly rainy period and the rivers seem to have been flooded for ages! It's enough to put a lot of anglers off going, but not intrepid Mr Robbins! With 14ft feet of surging floodwater to contend with, James was still confident of catching some barbel! Brilliant James, I’ve been using your rig for some time now and it’s been working perfectly for me. Before that, I was using the Korum anti tangle run rig, which, more often than not, tangled up. This video carries over just as well when fishing the Ribble, Severn and Trent and just like all the rest of the films, it carries a bucket load of valuable and useful tips and showcases some real top end kits that are excellent value for money Keep it coming.

Surprised to hear you say that. Am sure there was a barbel feature in Anglers Mail magazine about catching barbel in Holland not so long ago🤔 probably a big river like Rhine? Not quite the Wye of course. It's a great river. cheers.

@@cadencefishinguk True, but rivers are different than from yours. And these are in the south of the Netherlands. I live in the north. And there are unfortunately no barbels. And many hand-dug canals

Jan jr Get yourself to rotteedam with you fishing gear . Get on the night boat to hull .and come and do some river fishing in England. Theres loads of rivers to fish in yorkshire on a day ticket . Use the internet for tackle shops for bait and also for rivers to fish .and hotel's to stay . That are about 2 hour's drive from hull . If you need any help / advice . Get in contact . Tight lines

I can safely say after 10 + years of being out of fishing . I am desperate to get back into it again and will be kitting myself out with Cadence rods and reels . I love feeder and float fishing never been keen on pole . I’ve registered to the web site and cant wait to get some new kit and I love the policy of giving back . Too many companies nowadays are more interested in profit and not the anglers but like I say I watch all your videos and the rods and reels look superb , probably repeating myself here but I can’t wait to make some purchases. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎣

@@georgetaylor5433 point taken, but we have done several videos using our budget reels n rods. Ultimately without revenue from the sales of equipment we could not fund the nice videos. Also, KZbin has strict rules now on whether a video is made for kids or not. We decided to avoid this, as many have also done, but hopefully younger anglers still watch n learn, then they can check the website for deals on the fantastic value combos etc. All the best👍
