Well team guru between yourselves & Matt you 've come up with a gem of a film to encourage anglers of all ages & experience to have a go on moving water & as Matt says "The unknown".I was self taught on drains & small rivers & they are more exciting & more challenging than Stillwater.After watching Matt in action,after going through his setup,proving it works & with such passion,I feel as though it's time for me to take the leap.I'm already looking for a decent rod to suit my needs.Thank you very much Matt thoroughly enjoyed it,top man.

Excellent video. I find the guru River feeders don't last long in my bag before the cages break. I usually end up sliding a bit of bike tyre inner tube over them when they start breaking.

Heck of a track to peg 25. but worth it and a great video Matt, when's the next one on the Trent matt?
@waynenippard59334 жыл бұрын
Great video Matt. One question, if you are clipped up how do you play out a bow in the line? Appreciate the line won’t be dead tight when the feeder lands but surely there isn’t enough excess line to form a decent bow especially on big, powerful rivers like the Trent? Thanks.

hope you had your factor 200 one, looks too sunny for a ginger lol
@benprice37194 жыл бұрын
I also prefer not to use the clip on deeper rivers to let the line bow out better. Tying a little slip knot on your main line once you've cast let's you check how accurately you're controlling the distance on the casts.

Matt. Top film mate. What rod, I’m having trouble finding rods for the river. Local tackle shops are based on commercial’s and only stock for them.

Good info so whats the cost of all that bait going to cost us for a session
@robertcourt85934 жыл бұрын
It's not as bad as it seems, if you're fishing regularly. It's only the worms that are really expensive and they will last ages if you dont use them and look after them. And you're saving a tenner on the day ticket! If you can afford two ventis rods and castizms,20 quid for a kilo of worms is loose change!
@robertmedzai81634 жыл бұрын
Hi Matt really good video to watch , I have a question for you , would you consider using or have you used blood worm as a bait . Some people say its a killer but you dont see the top anglers using it ,is there a reason for this ?

Matt is so good in front of the camera he's wasted at guru. The angling trust should have taken him and Tom scholey on board to get people into fishing. Their enthusiasm and the way they make it look so fun could have brought fishing out of the dark ages.
