Floor was asked by the show to record herself and herself singing the song from her house, because she could not travel. She had 15 gallstones and they removed her gallbladder. This was recorded like 2 weeks after, and the live band played to what she sent in. Floor is just amazing.

I know exactly what you mean - I never watch tve European song contest - it's commercial crap - but then Floor took a round in Beste Zangers - doing some covers - and this!!! She could not travel because she was recovering from galbladder surgery that she underwent just a week before. So she recorded her part in her home studio and sent it to Beste Zangers where they combined her recording with the backing track from the band.

Beste Zanger synced this performance with their band. Floor was recovering from gall bladder surgery and was not allowed to fly. Doctors orders. The original sang by Loreen from Sweden was done as a techno dance song. We could use a Beste Znagers in the USA!

my understanding is that she did some sort of online rehearsals with the band to work on timing then sang her part to a record track of everything, however many takes that was. Then once Beste Zangers got that final track, the band practicing live playing to her recorded track. IIRC the Beste Zangers band, at least part of it, was Floor's back up band for that mini tour she did with Henk after Beste Zangers.

She is at home in Sweden outside of Kungälv, becouse of covid. The song was originally written for the Swedish artist Loreen, performed at eurovision 2012

The microphone is her own personal mic that she uses for recording at her home. Does it travel with her when recording with Nightwish? I don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it. The reason this was recorded in her home was because she couldn't travel due to the gallbladder removal surgery she had to have very unexpectedly in the first week of April while she was in Finland rehearsing for the virtual show. They actually called and asked her if she would represent Netherlands in the Beste Zangers Eurovision Competition and as much as she wanted to, she had to decline because she wasn't able to travel to the show..... So they brought the show to her. 😊❤🤘🤘

Last week Floor and Henk did another song together, i like it but it's a little bit short. Check it out, i think you would like it.
