Floor was asked by the show to record herself and herself singing the song from her house, because she could not travel. She had 15 gallstones and they removed her gallbladder. This was recorded like 2 weeks after, and the live band played to what she sent in. Floor is just amazing.

Beste Zanger synced this performance with their band. Floor was recovering from gall bladder surgery and was not allowed to fly. Doctors orders. The original sang by Loreen from Sweden was done as a techno dance song. We could use a Beste Znagers in the USA!

The microphone is her own personal mic that she uses for recording at her home. Does it travel with her when recording with Nightwish? I don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it. The reason this was recorded in her home was because she couldn't travel due to the gallbladder removal surgery she had to have very unexpectedly in the first week of April while she was in Finland rehearsing for the virtual show. They actually called and asked her if she would represent Netherlands in the Beste Zangers Eurovision Competition and as much as she wanted to, she had to decline because she wasn't able to travel to the show..... So they brought the show to her. 😊❤🤘🤘

So great. This was a Eurovision song contest winner and was def more pop. It was well liked all over Europe but Floor made it so much more awesome! She had to get emergency gallbladder surgery & was recovering so had to record her part at home, as she could not travel.

my understanding is that she did some sort of online rehearsals with the band to work on timing then sang her part to a record track of everything, however many takes that was. Then once Beste Zangers got that final track, the band practicing live playing to her recorded track. IIRC the Beste Zangers band, at least part of it, was Floor's back up band for that mini tour she did with Henk after Beste Zangers.

Look video again from beginning, Floor is not in studio, Beste Zangers techs came to her so she could participate on this song. She had just gone through that bladder surgery. And was not allowed to travel especially when NW virtual concert was so close. She had been instructed to take it easy at home, And did she? Of course not.
