After Forever - Energize Me,is a perfect song to be introduced to After Forever with. It leaves you wanting more,and shows just how much talent they had in that band. (Also were Mark Jansen were in,before he later left the band and created his own band EPICA with Simone Simons) Note: This was after Mark had left,so the song was written by Floor and Sander Gommans (who created After Forever with Mark Jansen)

It's always great to be able to relate to any piece of art, like this song that Floor wrote for her chronically ill mother. It was first released on After Forever's 2005 album Remagine. Stay safe & take good care of your mother.

I know The Poet And The Pendulum,Greatest Show On Earth were songs that made her emotional towards the end. But Strong is defintly the only song i have seen breaking Floor over the years. She did a really good performance back when in After Forever,but over the years she has just not made it 100% without her breaking up in tears. She allmost had it here though,but only just....... I wouldnt be surprised if she by chance looked over to her mom a tiny second,and saw her in tears,and that had too much of a impact on Floor too. I fell in love with Emma Heesters honoring Floor with this song in Beste Zangers. The best and strongest performance for me personally in that show.

Her mother has a chronic version of Reumatism there is no cure it but it can be kind of managed by painkillers.
