Floor Mic Test

Your gain level was so low, that it pretty much invalidated this test. The noise floor was horrid, and that shouldn't be the case.

You could use a mic pre amp to help remove the noise floor and get more gain

Audio Technica boundary mic, but I assume it was an omnidirectional, not a cardioid? It would be helpful to know which AT is was. Thanks!

Good point. It was an Audio-Technica PRO 44 which A-T describes as hemi-cardioid (half-space cardioid) polar pattern.
