Had the enourmous privilege of meeting Floor in person at University in London (ICMP) during my Music degree. She gave an epic singing masterclass but i could tell (and I was also) most of us who signed up just wanted to be in the masterclass with Floor 😄. She was so patient with our fumbling questions, stars in our eyes haha. My family love Nightwish as well as Floor's other music and I have a photo taken with her that we cherish alot! On Coffee ☕: I like to spike my coffees with the odd spirit here and there, just for a nice lil' kick. That or a small chunk of raw fresh bee's honeycomb, and oat milk, served strong. Bliss! 👌

Happy to hear you got rid of the cancer, and are healthy! Lost my stepfather last year to cancer,actually the week before your Kitee show. I had looked forward to that trip for a long time, but during the circumstances I considered not to go to take care of my mother. She told me; do that trip! So I did. I also wanted to see you on Tons of Rock, which would have made me drive in total 8 hours to Oslo and back since the funeral was the day after - but you had to cancel for taking care of your (and your babys) Health. I think that also was a good thing for me - the funeralday was stressful enough for us. So how I like my coffee? Black, but not too strong (then I would need some milk to ‘soften’ it)

My son has ASD , OCD and an intellectual disorder . He is "obsessed with Animals" but needs to have a barrier between live animals and him to feel safe without anxioty . To the point where going for a walk with a dog coming his way on a lead is a challenge ! But he jumps straight on a Horse without hesitation , being lucky enough to access Riding for the disabled at his school , so what does that tell you about a Horses intuition AND Theirs ? ! Great animals 🐴

Thanks Floor. I was diagnosed with cancer a few months after you were and hearing a bit about your journey at that time helped me stay positive. My surgery was successful and follow up has been positive so far but the staging process and waiting game was super stressful. Can definitely relate to that “Get it out” feeling…

Hello Floor, I greet you from Argentina, I went to see you at the last concert you did at Luna Park in Buenos Aires, it was an incredible show as always, but I swear that I felt something inside when I saw you on stage. At the end of one of the songs you left behind the stage crying, that's when I knew something wasn't right, after a couple of weeks I found out what you were going through, it was a devastating time for me, I don't go a day without thinking about you , I am not a religious believer, but I tried hard thinking that everything was going to turn out well, and it did, thank you for being such a bright and positive person. My soul is with you despite the distances.

I don't drink coffee Floor but if it was a requirement to spend a few minutes in your company then I would go and buy some right now! I am currently dealing with a kidney stone so I will sit and sip water instead as I have to get through 3 litres every day. 😄 You have had a very busy year! Congratulations on all of it! I am looking forward to the launch of Nightwish's new album in September too so still more to come! You don't like to let the grass grow under your feet do you! (English saying meaning you don't stay still for long!) I would love to hear you talking about your horses (and in fact, ALL of your pets!) although horses actually terrify me following several, unfortunate incidents when I was a child. All on the same day, a horse stood on my foot, I was bitten and then I was left to ride one for my first time EVER, completely alone. I was told that, as I was inexperienced, I could go at the back and follow the rest of the group (because that is clearly the best thing to do with someone that has no experience what-so-ever and no knowledge of how to steer a creature that is at least 20 times my size with teeth that I now knew, can hurt...a LOT!🙄) My horse wanted to stay and eat in the hedgerow rather than go for a walk though and the leader shouted at me not to let it, although she didn't actually tell me HOW to stop it. Pleading with it was getting me absolutely nowhere! Eventually, it decided to continue walking and I thought things were going really well until suddenly, a startled rabbit ran in the hedge next to us and spooked my horse who then began to run for several miles (I was told later that it was actually only a few steps) with me bumping along and hanging on for dear life on top of it! By this point, I was so scared and more than a little intimidated and I began to cry and plead with them to let me get off. They told me we were heading back now so I would have to wait. I cried all the way back, offering profuse thanks to the wonderful people that invented cars, buses, bikes, scooters, roller skates and in fact, ANY mode of transport that didn't have free will and painful teeth, so that I would never need to sit on one of these things again...EVER! When we arrived back, my horse refused to go into the stable yard. It stood still, outside the gate. I was told several times to 'bring it in' but it didn't want to move and I had no idea how to make it! I told them if they wanted their horse they would have to come and get it and I was getting off of it right now! I practically fell off of it and landed on the grass in a heap because my legs were shaking so much! I have never been near one since! That was my only ever horse encounter and there will never be another one for me I'm afraid! How did you discover horses? I guess your first encounters were clearly better than mine!
