This was one of the best vantours ive seen out of the zillion I've watched. They mentioned cost of items, time, gave great ideas, and were such solid, not annoying speakers. The van is gorgeous. As is the view out the back door! I just wish people would talk more about the total cost of build and cost of living in the van. Suggestions for future videos?

This is a great build - love that they mentioned weight in their van while they were building. Most don't think about it. You can tell they know what they wanted and had the skills to get it done

Hey thanks! On that note, we realized we mentioned the weight in kilos, meant to say 1000 POUNDS under weight, not 1000 KG!

I would have to say, this is the very first couple van video where I have seen the lady of the house show us the back of the van and how it all worked and came together. And then the man of the house showing us all of the interior and what is used day in and day out. I say that was pretty ingenious and well done. Secondly, I can’t help but ask where you were filming your advertisement at the end. What a gorgeous place, a slice of Heaven really. The model did pretty good too. He he. 😁 Thank you, another great video, and a notch on your belt. Oh, and the pouring of drinks with the bear coasters was pretty darn cool too. Be well and stay smiling 🎈

Dan and CANdice, you have created a beautiful 'on-the-road'home which my husband and I, here in Winnipeg, are admiring and about which I'm wondering ... could Len and I, at our 'older less energetic' stage of life possibly ever be capable of creating to some degree? ... This needs to become common sense, most of your fridge's "cold" is in the food. air takes much less energy to change temperature than water, in fact water needs 4 times as much energy (foods are mostly water) and also water is more dense, so more of those good for cold storage molecules (700 times more dense) . so in a half full fridge, There is roughly (700*4) 2800 times more energy in the food than the air.

@maiingan073 жыл бұрын
That’s the greatest thing about designing your own interior, you can do it the way you like it. One doesn’t have to favor what others might think best. Conformity can bite. And hey, neither you nor I have to live in it, even though I thought their wall with all of that uneven wood rocked. And that walnut trim? Woo hoo! I really liked that. Take care, luv

Yeah, i just dont understand the need for all the closed storage. I kept mine as cabinet free as possible and the one i have is open shelved. Just missing the luxurious 12v fridge.
@aboveallthingslove63493 жыл бұрын
@@JoesCaribbeanVanLife Thet mentioned early on that it's also a showplace for their woodworking business. Their design style is all about live edges and resin fills so it makes perfect sense to use those elements as doors and counters rather than being purely utilitarian with open-faced storage or bins.
