I’ve seen her live twice, once in 2016 and then in 2018. And both times she went through the whole “it’s going to be very difficult, but I need everyone to put their phone away,” and I absolutely love when she does that. If I get the privilege to see her on this tour I can’t wait for her to do that again, and I’m glad to see she still does it. She adds a lot of humor too, like, “if you see someone with their phone, remind them the polite British way: tap them on the shoulder and say ‘Excuse me, but we are trying to have an experience here,’” or something along those lines. She’s just such an incredible performer and I’m so confident when I tell people Florence + the Machine is my favorite band.
