I never get tired of the medieval/ Renaissance theme . Gotta admit I don't know how I feel about the art on the board, specifically the color saturation...maybe it's just my view on the screen. Guess I'll have to see how production copies look, but not a deal breaker

I have Venice. It's definitely flawed (board too small, runs a tad long, variable art -some great and some meh) but it had some really cool ideas, the slowly improving worker placement areas, the movement puzzle that rewards and punishes you for moving efficiently, the interaction via dropping the unwanted intrigue points on one another. I've enjoyed playing it but it could be better. As a result I hadn't planned to back this one but having watched a few explanations I really like the look of this, if it doesn't run too long as there does look to be a certain amount of fiddliness. I'd say it's worth keeping an eye on, maybe check out some more previews.
