yes, very common in latin households. we have been watching your episodes since you were 10k. It is pleasure - NO fluff ! when I was trying to understand the etymology, most of them pick on latin flavors. .I was introduced to cured meats from goa, many decades ago. Yum, O Yum !

Hello Lourdes, thank you so much for your interest in this recipe :) I scooped up some of the mixture, and placed it with the spoon in cold water (so it's not exactly a drop test). After keeping it immersed in water for about 15 seconds, touch the mixture with your finger. It MUST NOT stick to your finger, that's an indicator that it's ready. If it does stick, cook for few more minutes and check again :) Hope this helps, dear one, God bless you abundantly💫

Hello and thank you, Aisha :) If cooked as per the stated directions, this guava cheese can remain at room temperature for 2-3 weeks, or even more. Just store it well without handling it too much and don't let moisture get to it, and at certain times of the day, allow it to get some air. I usually keep it in the tin-mould itself, and the keep it in the oven, where it's dark, cool and dry. Hope this helps 💫

You can call me Florency, I would really like that, Lourdes💞 I didn't measure the weight of the pulp, so I can't answer that question very specifically. But, this is a volume-based recipe. So no matter the pulp weight, just measure the sugar as per the amount of pulp formed :) Here, I've used US Cup measures where 1 Cup=240 ml. But thanks for bringing this to my notice; I'll try to be more precise in upcoming recipes💐
