FLORES, INDONESIA | Visiting the Local Market, Hobbit Cave (Liang Bua), and Rice Farmers | Ruteng

We spent a few days in Ruteng on the island of Flores in Indonesia. We learned about the Manggarai culture, visited the local market, trekked through the rice fields, and visited the Hobbit Cave (Liang Bua).
We stayed at Sun Rice Homestay which is one of our favorite homestays in Indonesia! The owner, Jeff, does a fantastic job by truly welcoming his guests and showing them around the area.

Di Ruteng suhu nya sangat dingin di malam dan pagi hari, suhunya bisa mencapai 5° C, bukan lagi dibilang sejuk tapi sudah masuk dingin karena suhu nya bisa sampai di bawah 10°C, apalagi di bulan bulan Juli dan Agustus.
