Camping in Florida can be fun if you pick the right Florida campground. These RV campsites have a great water view which are sure to please.
We take you through Huguenot Memorial Park and campground in Jacksonville Florida. The day we went to Huguenot Park the sky was filled with helicopters since the Navy base Mayport is right across the river. Keep in mind it was just a few days after the Iran situation. If you are looking for beach camping this is the campground for you. You can fish, surf, kayak grill out and so much more...This gives a good explanation of what you can expect when visiting Huguenot Park. Huguenot Park is in northern Florida near Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach and Jacksonville, very close to Mayport's Naval Base. Beautiful campground!

We are Florida natives and did two years exploring the state in our 22 foot weekend warrior, before getting our new rig to full-time. We never made it here! Will definitely have to add it to our list!

Have you gone to Hanna Campground before? We were looking for sites with more shade, wondering if Hanna offers that?

We used to live 2 miles from there, great park with lots of tree cover but depending on your size be careful which site you pick, some are tight.
