She’s really inspired me to feel like I can be a better mom despite struggling with challenges like anxiety.. I’ve watched her KZbin videos since the beginning and have always been a fan. I feel ..really stupid though because.. when she’s shared some opinions in the past, I replied with my own.. and I wish I hadn’t. I’m like her in that I can have strong opinions.. strong convictions, and it’s been terrible for me because it creates division instead of connection.. So instead of someone like Aaryn knowing I like and admire them so much, they end up not liking me. It’s a hard lesson to learn.. to just shut the heck up, you know? And to understand that I don’t always have to share my dang opinion.. because it’s not worth alienating people you care about. I don’t know if Aaryn realizes, but for those who’ve watched her videos for years, it kinda feels like she’s a friend of sorts..someone I care about. But of course.. you forget she has no idea what you’re like. I’ve learned a valuable lesson from her.. That if I truly like and admire someone, the only path is just compassion & kindness, and the rest..opinion etc,..just doesn’t matter. I wish I could apologize. I wonder if she’s had that experience as well.. saying too much.. in the wrong way.. wishing you could just go back and be quiet, so the person you care about isn’t upset. Gah. I wish I was better at life sometimes.
