Florida June 2023 DAY 8: International Drive, Animal Kingdom, Premium Outlets and HUGE McDonald's!

Join me and Laura for an action packed day in Orlando Florida! Starting our day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, riding Avatar Flight of Passage, Everest and also watching the Lion King Musical show. After Starbucks and a chill we head to grab a Chilli's Restaurant takeaway for lunch to enjoy back at the villa by the pool.
After a little break we head to International Drive to go to the Premium outlets and to do some discount shopping. We check out 2 outlet centers on I-Drive, mainly the Orlando Premium Outlets which has the Disney Character Warehouse and more!
For dinner we opt for something easy, checking out The World's Largest McDonald's on International Drive Orlando. We show the whole restaurant including it's exclusive menu which included McDonald's Pizza and even Pasta!

I always use my large notes at walmart self check out. Even if its just a few dollars on cookies etc put in a $50 & get smaller notes as change

that part when you was in the mcdonalds brought back memories, i was there was back in 1995 in the hotel right behind that maccies, was the quality inn international (now rosen inn international) we stayed there in 93, 94 and 95 and in 96 we stayed in a hotel waaaay up near where wet n wild used to be, perkins across the road was good back then as was the dennys a few buildings up, i only found your videos as i am finally planning a trip stateside in 2024, not to orlando this time but somewhere different, and your videos have given me ideas of what travelling there in the current time is like, you gained my subscription :)

1:05:45 Charley’s is amazing - it’s one of our must-do restaurants. T-shirts and stuff is fine but maybe not a short tee. We’re actually planning on visiting one of the sister restaurants this time (I’ve wanted to go back there since 2007!), Vito’s Chop House. Similar vibe, fantastic service, fine wines, the best steaks around. You have to try one of them!

I knew a guy who installed the original tree at Animal Kingdom, many many years ago. Yes, it was a real tree that looked very similar to the artificial one there now. Sad thing is when they were craning it in on giant canvas straps and supports it broke in half, so they just decided to make the one now there, knowing finding another tree like that would be near impossible.

Shake shack is a great chain to eat at. Always choose it as a first stop for food when in the states.. Saying that I haven't ate at the one on I-drive. That McDonald's on I-drive is terrible... We waited 45 mins for food and had to go down a just queue up for it. It's too busy and dirty. Unfortunately I think I-Drive is actually going down hill from when I went as a kid in the 80s and 90s, especially north end. Try shake shack!

The Longhorn Steakhouse is the best on i drive...near to Ripleys believe it or not, up from icon park. The best steaks, great price point, casual clothes, Texan atmosphere, nice cocktails...better steak than the others...😊 nice vlog you two...Tend to spend my 50 dollar notes in the malls and outlets ...no problems there.😊❤

We were on Idrive last month and amazing steakhouse we found was longhorn steak house best one was at top of idrive just by the premium outlets right next to stop 1 on the iRide and very cheap indeed dearest steak was less than $35

Loved this vlogg oh my ur dad's only any good at ordering English tea he's hilliariouse. You an Laura love ur rides we don't do them but love watching an hearing people laughing. The shops u went to we tryed an there sizing was hit an miss. So back to the bigger malls an plenty there in 2kisses xxl 😂 my husband luves under armour . But he's just bought his 1st acloud an luvs them . U an Laura are amazing couple never stop vloggs we luv them all x

Prime evil whirl had to close because the company that supplied it to Disney went bust and they could not get spare parts for repairs anymore, it was one of our favourite rides at Animal Kingdom.

I highly recommend yard house, it’s one of the nicest restaurants I’ve ever eaten in, Orlando or otherwise! They have a full vegan menu and I think they have the same for gluten free. Highly recommend. Uncle julios is also Devine- authentic Mexican

I’m the other way round I prefer International drive premium over Vineland, I do love the Under Armor warehouse though I always walk out with bags of stuff and that’s a great Toy shop on I get my FunkoPop figures from there, Dezerland is definitely worth a visit, got a full tour video on my Orlando channel got to see it many years ago before it opened and then again when it opened Uncle Julios, Tin Roof, Buffalo’s, Shake Shack are all nice on Icon Park

I think its because they may not have enough cash float to give change for a $50 or a $100... especially the smaller shops if they get a few in 1 day. The bigger shops should accept them. ...next time I go I'll ask for $ 20 notes and under.

Hi I'm going in August and September doing disney parks this time but might do 2 days at universal. I seen a sign in the outlets in this video can't see prices any idea what 2 days at universal would be. Floridatix etc only do 14 day passes which is too much. Also is it safe to buy tickets when u get over there? I've seen them advertised in wall mart etc aswel when I've been over

Theres only 3.785 litres to an American gallon, so thats about 68p a litre, about half the price of the UK, though we have 4.546 litres in our gallons. Interesting. Another great vlog.

Well you used to have 3.785 liters per gallon in the UK until you changed everthing up on us. Over here in the US were sticking with tradition, we're still using the Queen Anne Wine Gallon. lol

I have had no problem in department stores and outlets where you tend to spend a larger amount....or use self service in stores to get change...I have had hundreds and fifty, they hold them up to see the validity strip or put them under the light.

Totally worth the price, the food is amazing and despite advertising a strict dress code it isnt massively enforced, we turned up in slightly damn swimwear after a waterpark day and they had no issues with us coming in spending money.
