Hello Kassandra. I'm assuming that you are studying for the California real estate exam. There is not simple answer to your question because there are a lot of differences between the states but also similarities. Some of my free math videos will help you understand the information for the California real estate exam but some of my free videos will not help you for the California exam. If you are looking at one of my free math videos my advice is to start a video and watch a bit and then pause the video and go to your textbook or materials from the California real estate course and analyze if the video might be helpful or not.

I do not think this will be tested on the state exam but a check is a square 24 miles by 24 miles (24 miles square), containing 576 square miles. Therefore, the following would fit in one check: 16 Townships; 576 sections; 368,640 acres.

You're welcome. A township is 6 miles by 6 miles so 36 square miles. Correct that each township contains 36 sections. Each section has 640 acres.

Tony Mesa Real Estate School Inc. Could you demonstrate how to calculate "Amortizing loan payments "?? . Buyer takes a loan of $40.000 for 30 years at 10% interest . At the end of the 30 years he would end up paying $86.370.80. How much is his monthly payments ??

Is $86,370.80 the total paid in the problem or the total interest? If total interest add it to the principal and then divide by 360 payments to calculate payment amount. 360 because in a 30 year loan 360 payments (12 x 30).
