Next time ur in Dunnellon, u should try some amazing fried chicken @ The Front Porch Restaurant and Pie Shop. They have delicious, reasonably priced southern fare.

The brick-domed buildings along US 41, north of Dunnellon are charcoal kilns built in the 1950s and used for Blackjack oak that grew near Romeo, FL. The smoke from these kilns caused visibility issues for local road. Unused since the 1960s. a different company uses the site for a different charcoal processing plant.

My dad is the Mayor of Dunnellon he Works diligently every day in the City hall u just saw. Dunnellon is a gem 💎 Unfortunately too many people are finding out about it, the Springs and everything else that Dunnellon has to offer and people are moving there like crazy, during the summer you can hardly paddle through the rainbow thousands of people tubbing. Dunnellon was once Florida’s best kept secret due to the internet humans are destroying it

Thank you Bee I appreciate you saying that and taking notice. I really try to keep the camera steady and keep the audio as clean as possible. I made this video, edited it, and then put it out in 8 hrs total. ( edited in the Williston McDonalds parking lot) Sometimes my weekends are the only time I have to create, so I’m constantly trying to find the right occasions and moments to go on down my check list as far as what I want to explore. It’s a fun time making videos and I appreciate you and everyone who watches. Thank you so much :)

I dont know if you've done Dunedin? If you have pls lmk. If not, you know its a cool place. There was also a hotel w a hot springs inside of it and the pool also had warm mineral springs. It was somewhere at the end of the downtown street that looks like an old fashioned Main Street w a park across the road.

I went on vacation there in, July 2020 and both places were closed to capacity in the a.m. Its not organized well because once the parking lot was 50% full they shut down entrance for the rest of the day. They are losing money because during the day people will leave but they dont let anyone else in.! It is a gorgeous place for water sports. Thanks for the video.

Great video, job well done! So many places like Citrus Springs across our great state that were started in a day and age where there were so many land grabs like Port St Lucie, Cape Coral and Port Charlotte.... . Blues Brothers statue is ****ing cool! Thanks for putting your videos up Jay! They are really entertaining! North Central FL (Gainesville/Ocala) is a nice place, perhaps when my daughter finishes college at FSU and me and my wife finally get to retire, we might choose north of Tampa as the spot to relocate! Lots of places to explore in FLA for sure but if you decide to do Valdosta I am sure it will be fun as well. Be safe everyone!

So, according to that poem, the river flows North rather than South. Is that true? I didn't know that tequila was made from blue agave. Perhaps we can call the giraffe Roy--short for ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet)--the colors in the rainbow (fitting for his home of Rainbow River). Alright, I'll hold you to it (the Alabama roadside attractions). Thanks, Jay!

Actually those structures are where they used to take all the unsuspecting KZbin videoographers who would come into town there and pester the locals in search of The Blues Brothers (who actually live in Chicago) and lop their heads off. Then they would throw their dead bodies in those round structures and leave the doors open all night and let the Chupacabras who live in the woods around there come in and feast on their carcasses until there were only skeletons left!! Did I mention that's Jason Vorhees's home town?? You better get outta there dude! We actually did a canoe trip down the Peace River years ago which was nice but waaay too many gators all over the place sizing you up as a possible snack on the way through. No way you'd get me in an inflatable tube going down any of those rivers around those parts. 👹💀
