You are SO right about that Rose !! They are certainly true survivors. Being in their presence is like being among dinosaurs. And YES, they are amazing "teachers" ! Thank you so much for your wonderful comments !

Are these some of your new friends who've moved in after the storms? Although, I'm not sure the last one appreciated being on camera! It must never be boring when you can go and watch these incredible animals in the wild where they belong. I loved the mother gator with her young, proof that they aren't the mindless reptiles some people think they are.

Greetings dear nature-brother ! Yes, a couple of these gators are new arrivals. The last big boy was letting me know he is taking over my swamp. After his display, he swam close to me , non-aggressive, curious, yet pleased with himself for sending his territorial message. Have had several encounters since & we have an understanding of acceptance & mutual respect. The mother gator is named OSHUN. I have followed her swamp journey for almost six years now. I am accepted as friend which she consistently has proven over the years. You would be in AWE in her presence, she is 16' long and a real modern-day dinosaur ! I am thrilled to share my encounters here and I THANK YOU for such awesome comments !!! ❤
