I was forced to retire at age 62 in 2020 due to COVID's effect on my employer's business. I don't like living in Michigan, but it's relatively cheap up here. The Winter is hell. My monthly income is about $4,000 per month. Is independent living even feasible at a low income like that? I'm 65 now and in great shape. I would like to live in a warmer climate at age 70 (in 5 years). I'm all alone (Elder Orphan) and life is lonely. What's your advice? Thank you.
