We're not winning a Natty this season, unless something magical happens but let's be realistic here. I would be absolutely thrilled to make/win the ACC championship game. Winning that would more than likely be enough to put us in the CFP, which would be absofuckinglutely awesome. A respectable showing in the 1st round would be a great step back into the contender spotlight, especially for recruiting purposes. That's not a disappointment of a season, at all, if that's how it ends. Of course, I hope for more but that would certainly not be a disappointment of a season 💯🍢

I don't think a lot of the fan base, and some of the media, understands this staff's recruiting M.O. This staff doesn't pay attention to the recruiting site's ratings. They don't focus on stars, for the most part. I'm not saying that someone doesn't but Norvell and Company don't mention a players star rating when they speak about a said players. They do personal evals and watch a ton of film and trust their evaluations over any of the talking heads and recruiting websites. It's pretty obvious that Billy and Mario are chasing star ratings more so than focusing on personal evaluations. Our staff digs, discovers, and develops. It's pretty impressive, tbh, especially the development on AND off the field. The fact that this staff has completely flipped the team's academic scores shows that they dig deep, while focusing on all the details 💯

@@pnut3844able the transfers we brought in fall in the same bucket..they were underdeveloped at their previous stop and this staff unlocks the potential.. whether a player is from HS or the portal, this staff finds and develops their talent 💯

This is how literally every staff that is attempting to compete for conference and national championships do it. The stars are for the recruiting sites and the majority of them are correct. There isn’t a huge need for players to be looked for. They have already been found.

This is just crazy talk. There is zero reason to think any staff is going to out-evaluate the entire marketplace which is represented by the recruiting rankings. The teams competing for it all want the same players and then maybe 2-3 at the end of their class for fit, etc. The star ratings are incredibly good and no staff out-evaluates them over any sustained period. Academic scores? pssh

I have been saying for several months that FSU will look to the portal for a 2024 QB. Rodemaker is okay but not top level and will not be the starter. Duffy will see the light and transfer. Glenn will improve but not be good enough. Kromenhoek will redshirt. The starter will be a guy not on campus now.

Elite talent doesn’t redshirt. If Luke is as talented as they say he is he will be a 5 star by the time he signs and stands a strong possibility of starting. Not sure what you think will be available in the portal but it won’t be his level of talent.

Has Norvell ever started a true Freshmen QB? That's the type of proof we should be looking at. Jimbo was old school and demanded RSs by his true Fr QBs, and so did Bobby. The only difference is when injuries thrusted them into action.
