Really need to see that defensive staff improved after the season. JP really dissapointing on the recruiting trail and shannon can’t even put together a board. Maybe fuller but that depends on the season imo. No more excuses for him with the defense they have this year

Yo mentioned needing better staff if we want to be a top five class. How does one go about this? Are schools sacrificing top coaching talent to gain better salesman so to speak? Is Coach Norvell strategically choosing to have better coaching in hopes that it leads to an increased chance of winning etc? Would love your thoughts.

In theory, you have to find the right balance between coaching ability and ability to get talent. But in practice, talent becomes more important. Also, the idea that FSU has really good coaches who simply aren't good at recruiting is not proved. Where is the evidence this defensive staff is good at coaching?

I've been saying for months we need to get rid of coach JP, Haggins, and Shannon because those guys are asleep at the wheel . It makes no sense on how bad our defensive recruiting has been last few years. Mike needs to get serious about this immediately or get left behind PERIOD!!!

Doubt they’ll get rid of Haggins because of his developmental skills. His age is being recruited against that’s the issue.

Fox is listed as an ATH on 24/7. Has him at 208. Plays both ways in HS. Could he play Edge at the next level or is he only a WR/TE prospect?
