FSU 1993 was nasty. Its a lot like FSU 2013. I am just arm chair quarterbacking here. But Kansas knew how fast linebackers from Seminoles were. And they kept doing sweep and guard pull plays. No wonder they could not do anything right then.

That was the year we lost to ND, but we were still able to go to the national title game and win en route to kicking Florida's sorry ass in the regular season. the days of FSU running through the ACC is over and has been for years as well as them running through the schedule...those days are done! im a miami fan i see it already, there will not be any national titles coming to the state of florida anytime soon because the SEC's recruiting power and money is too strong...the ACC is one of the worst conferences in football...FSU beating wake, duke, NC or miami dont mean shit. the ACC is a 3rd class conference.

well hell,I didn't know that. That doesn't make sense. Back in high school in the 80s we got penalized for holding our hands up in front of the receiver if we didn't look back for the ball. I thought that rule applied to every level. I guess it doesn't,but it should.

if FSU is on the rise then why have they not recruited a great QB since Weinke? FSU is known for getting great QBs...funny how they've came up empty for 13 years recruiting QBs...where are those great DBs FSU usually has? great DTs, LBs..they dont exist anymore because you just like miami will get second rate recruits because the SEC comes into south florida and the pan handle and snatches the best..its worse for miami because they're a small private school..

Low budget like having to play your home games 40 mins from your Campus, Not selling out a game other then FSU when the Nole bought the extra tickets. And playing your Spring game at a high school feld like UM did at Ft.lauderdale. FSU IIndoor Practice facility cost more then UMs sports budget. Nice try though

you're a fool FSU has had a top 10 defense damn near every year since bobby bowden was there and even now they have had great defenses...the only shootout loss ponder had was to VT in the ACC title game and GT in 2009....FSU doesnt put out great players anymore it is what it is...20 years ago Cj spiller and those types of players go to FSU and miami....not anymore.

The greatest game that never was: 1993 Florida state vs Auburn. Auburn was 13-0 at that time and they could easily win SEC and play for national championship, but they were banned back then. 1993, the national title can go to either FSU,ND & Nebraska, they were good but I think Auburn was the team in 1993.

until you make a title appearance you'll still be on the decline...this 3 year span doesnt mean you're "on the rise" you dont even have a recruiting base anymore the SEC stole it, you just grab what you can, you cant even get Elite QBs anymore...the SEC stole it...the only difference between miami and FSU is FSU wins more meaningless ACC games...nothing else..the ACC is not elite and there is no elite teams in it....you get happy being 9-3 and playing some garbage team in the orange bowl LMAO!!
