It's finally here! Our 3 week trip of a lifetime to Florida! We packed so much into these 3 weeks & had the most amazing time ever! We filmed everything from Universal Studios to Disney World, shopping, eating out & more, so we have a whole series of Florida travel vlogs coming up on our channel.

I was so sad we couldn't spend longer in knockturn alley but my 4 year old was terrified...which is testament to how good the theming is. Oscar is so brave! I couldn't even get my 10 year old on to gringotts lol (infant he wouldn't go on haunted mansion, he completely freaked out at the very end of the queue and daddy had to take him out lol) We had steak n shake on our list but never went as we just were never hungry as it was so hot..aww well just one of many excuses to go back!...not that I needed one lol

It is scary down there, I'm not surprised you didn't hang around! There is never enough time out there is there? You could go every year and still miss things 💙

If you ever go again, I would recommend a couple of things to cope with the heat. First, it may seem strange, but bring in a baby buggy or rent one even without a baby. That way you can put your bags in them when walking around and save them making your back sweaty. Then you just park it outside the rides and take your bags with you. It will also save your backs as well. Second, those USB fans that I know you already have. Third, you can buy some cooling towels/bandanas on Amazon that you wet with water, wave the water out and put on your neck or head to cool you down. The fabric is some magic fabric that stays cool for a bit until you next wet it. Also, there are these disposable cooling patches and sheets that you can stick on your body in different places to cool down (sort of the opposite of heat pads you would stick on for pain). I think they are originally designed for children with fevers to cool them down but they work great in the Florida heat (one brand is FridaBaby). They are so worth their weight in gold. Just some tips from a Florida resident on how to survive our overwhelming heat and humidity.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Steak n Shake so nice to watch another vlogger go there. In 2018 they did a peanut m&m shake which was amazing. Only had the normal m&m in 2019 so hoping they bring it back. Tell me about the calories- oh my. I guess it’s a good job it’s a holiday thing 😂

here's a tip for you guys as I'm a traveller myself, dark colours attract heat try wear brighter colours ie pink, yellow or red etc, won't feel the heat as much

We really appreciated the social evenings, it's definitely not like a sit down meal though and what they serve is what you get. It was great when we didn't feel like driving out to eat. I think I may have filmed some in one of the vlogs? I would say if your not too fussy then great but some people would expect more variety x
