fwc already mishandles fishing in coastal bag limits on fish hundreds of millions of fish have died from red tide over the years which increased bag limits would have used those resourses to feed people .. not to mention they pick and choose what they want to do even when it falls under ther department.

The interviewee is wrong on all points. Regulated hunting does not cause a decline in hunted species. That’s why it is regulated. And with out hunters and organizations like Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Quail Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, to name a few wildlife we be far worse off today. Sportsman pay for preserving wildlife through funds raised via the Pittman Robertson Act as well as license and duck stamp sails. And many, like me, write checks to send funds directly to the organization that preserve habitat for a multitude of wildlife and also improve water quality that everyone can take advantage of.
