Why was he threatening to take the kids away? It was obviously bothering her as I’m sure it would have bothered him if she tried the same thing. Let’s put this in context. He threatened to take her kids to another state without her. Blaming her mental health. Why? She ruined his laptop, hid his identification, and locked him in the garage. (Because he was threatening her with taking the kids) What would you consider to be more painful? One seems to be reacting to the threats of the other. That’s manipulation. That’s abusive. They were both abusive but he wasn’t describing reacting to her, he was describing her reactions to his threats. That’s obviously setting her off and it’s obviously what he was doing. He didn’t have anything specific except her reactions to his threats of taking the kids. It’s gross when parents use their kids like that. Was it right what she did? Absolutely not, but what he was obviously doing was being cruel and escalating her into a freak out. He just overplayed his hand. He was trying to illicit an over reaction from her.
