Man, I haven't lived in Florida since 2000 and I spent many of my teenage years fishing in Tampa Bay, Clearwater Beach (on the Gulf Queen Charters my FAVORITE charter fleet), and Fort Desoto Piers, and I truly truly miss saltwater fishing whenever I felt like it. I live near Pittsburgh and I have since 2000, and my wife refuses to leave until her parents aren't around (which I hope they won't leave any time soon because I married into a wonderful family), but my entire family is still down there and I really miss it, and hate the snow and cold weather anymore. We also have two teenage sons who would LOVE the warm weather and more fun available. I am being a little selfish because I miss my best friends and having fun back home, but I truly believe that they will have just as much fun in Tampa.

Thanks for sharing, Captain. One question I hope you'll tackle in a future episode is top-shot when your reel is spooled with braided line. How much top-shot is enough? Do we even need top-shot?
