I do not understand how a person can be so entirely perfect

@persbol I guess that every artist gets inspiration from other artists, that's the way it all happens :) Thank you for your message.

@persbol funny u would mention this, he (the tallest man) has said that he likes to play around with the guitar for hours and suddenly he ends up playing something he really likes, only to realize he wrote it. Another thing he said was that he likes to try different versions of the same song and mess around, I think what your (and he) is talking about is simply the creative process... If someone has a problem with one song resembling another, then thats their f*** problem ;)

@staralfurstaralfur Its easy download the mp3 of this musics... you just have to download a little program : free youtube mp3 converter (the name is something like that.. look for on google). Then, you'll just have to put the URL and will automatically download. (sorry about my english... =P )
@FlorinSeven13 жыл бұрын
@victorxb360 Indeed, English not being my main language, I misread the point that he influences himself in his own music ... well, the answer is nearly the same ... I guess that every artist gets inspiration not only from others but also from his own work, that's the way it all happens :) ... it's all an endless modified cycle. Thank you for your message

@persbol I understand your point, but I want to make sure you know this song was on a 2006 EP and Bluebird and Sparrow were on his 2008 LP. That doesn't mean he wrote them in that chronological order, but I'd assume this came first.
@noahmcdx111 жыл бұрын
Either way then he developed this song into other, better songs. It's true and you can't deny it. And I'm his biggest fan like no other. The vocals definitely resemble where do my bluebird fly, and the guitar resembles the sparrow and the medicine.

Thank you ! I'll change the title immediately.

@barretogc and how about just buying his CDs or songs online and going to see him on stage live. Then, why not, watch the videos online if you want to see him live ?
@staralfurstaralfur15 жыл бұрын
oh, I understand :) that's why I asked... I always intend to do so, but once a concert begins I completely forget ,haha! Thanks anyway :)
@emerywoodsman13 жыл бұрын
@persbol That would be true except, I don't know how you don't know this, but over the hills was written way before the sparrow and the medicine. Still you're right about the nirvana
@tycho_m13 жыл бұрын
@persbol I agree, there's only so much you can do. But in his defense, the album version (which I prefer a LOAD to this fingerpicked version) is a whole lot different. That has more in common with The Wild Hunt. Cheeeers!
@staralfurstaralfur15 жыл бұрын
oh, well then I'll have to do it with my memories :) And this song is 'Over the hills' but this song is not his debut album 'shallow grave'

@FlorinSeven i just gave another option...I think this isn't forbidden. Moreover that are many people that cannot buy...

@persbol It's on youtube, champ. I've seen this man play live, don't tell me i don't respect him. Get out.

3 seconds after 2:30 he whispers ever so gently "good call" right in the middle of his groove. What did he mean by that? anyone? up loader? I wonder if anyone else noticed
@christianaraujo80484 жыл бұрын
Maybe he was about to hit someone on the head with his guitar and the person ducked in time and that’s why he said good call
@staralfurstaralfur15 жыл бұрын
no problem! but euhm, I have a question... could you send me the mp3 of this version? I can't find the cd with this song anywhere.... but if it's to much trouble, never mind...:)
@Gusanozz12 жыл бұрын
the album in which this song is on, was his first. so that would mean he recycled it in the newer songs you speak of. just sayin.
@FlorinSeven15 жыл бұрын
I don't think so ... I posted the 3 complete videos that I had. Maybe you can tell me the title of this one because the Tallest Man didn't reply to my mail yet ...
@crschreib11 жыл бұрын
anyone have the tab to this? or a good tutorial video?
@skatefarmerftw12 жыл бұрын
Have you even heard the original recording of this song? Its not even picked its strummed...and also this song is older than sparrow and medicine. So your points are kind of irrelevant haha sorry.
@FlorinSeven15 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but I don't have the right to do this, the artist only authorised me to publish the videos, not to send the songs in MP3 ... Record it while it plays :)

This doesn't really sound like the album original. Same vocals, but different instrumentals.
