I know that the florist worked so hard when Elvis passed away. His fans sent so many flowers that you couldn't see the grass. Such love 🌺🌹 Elvis was the best entertainer of all time and I listen to his music everyday.

What a touching interview. Yes he was good to his parents. Speaks volumes for his character. And he was kind and generous. The pictures of all the flowers at Graceland reminds me of one other person only, Princess Diana when she died. London was filled with flowers. Elvis certainly was a very special man and loved by millions. Miss you EP. 🌍🇿🇦

2021 and still a great emotion listening to people talk about Elvis after all these years. She saw, at first hand, the love people, from all over the world, had for this man. Amazing!!

Great interview, thank you for posting. Bless Vernon for thinking of the fans and not wanting to make a circus out of Elvis' funeral.

This is what I say about Elvis! Not only was he the worlds King of entertainment! But I feel the reason so many people just love him, is because of the person he was! Elvis was one of the worlds most kindest. In fact I feel if there were more people like him this world would be a better place. :⚡RIP EP :⚡

One of the best things at Graceland was seeing the flowers line the driveway. All 50 States and nearly every country in world was represented there. 45 years later and his death date is always remembered. No other artist gets this level of remembrance. We still and always will, mourn Elvis.

Quanto desidero la traduzione in italiano di certi video su Elvis....adoro questo personaggio, la sua meravigliosa voce, amo certi suoi sentimenti come l'amore per sua madre, l'amore per gli animali e la sua grande generosità !

So enjoyed her insight. And respect she expresses. They knew those flowers were peoples tears, they weren't going to allow them to dry up in the heat. Turned them into a tangible mementos. 5000 empty people left filled. Well done, well done!

Was Elvis a shy and sensitive man? Or even a highly sensitive person? I wonder.

My mother & I got in a car on an early Saturday a.m. for a 7 hour drive to Graceland when we heard they were letting fans come onto property to pay respects after he had been buried there. While we waited by the gate, a few guys walked down the line handing out single carnations to females "for a donation". We didn't have much cash but mom bought me one & I was told by this man to place it at the grave. Probably looking back these circus guys were recycling them & reselling them the next day. But i kept mine & its pressed in a scrapbook I still have.

I do remember the circus like atmosphere there waiting with 100+ people standing to be let onto the property. Lots of carnival type guys present selling Elvis trinkets & photos, etc. When the gate opened, we all felt privileged to be allowed to walk up the driveway, pass the front of the house to go to the side where the pool was & see the freshly dug red clay grave. Elvis fans young & old were very respectful & quiet on property - like being at church. Nobody strayed off the path or stopped the procession. I think his mother's grave was also placed there at the same time - both with bronze plaques already on top. I wish we had taken photos, but camera film/developing was expensive back then & we didn't bring a camera. I was 14 yrs old - in charge of map navigation & got us lost several times, but i will always remember that road trip with my mother. Got home late that night & nobody in the family knew we had made our secret, 1 time only pilgrimage to Memphis. Hearing this lady talk about all the flowers for Elvis brought back this memory from a long time ago. Bittersweet time.
