Lanc Upper turrets: It has an interrupter and a physical method to stop the guns hitting the fuselage. Between each gun, is a rod with a small wheel that follow the fairing, this is a "combined fairing and gun taboo track". This automatically raises the barrel to clear the fuselage, regardless of input by the operator but *doesn't stop the gun firing at the tail.* That is done by an internal rotating cam, on a microswitch and shaped to interrupt firing when the turret is rotated towards the fins. Wessex: Yes - but NOT A NAVY VERSION! Puma HC1 would be better in 1/48th.

Hello guys! Phil, really impressed am I with the HK B-25 kit. You have convinced me that it is a model worth buying & building.....immediately after getting the box open. Great show as always. May I say that you & Matt are the "Rowan & Martin" team of the plastic scale modelling world! Excellent chemistry and timing between the two of you! Look forward to the live chat on 25 January! Be seeing you

You have a cam interrupter rail , early version have a outer jacket that rose up towards the tail end raising the guns over the tail .

Here in the states we pound stakes into the ground, and pound steaks into our bellies! 😀

Yes, measures were taken to prevent shooting bits off your own aircraft. Lots of turret interrupter info on Google.

I notice the Australian B25 Mitchell is based in the North Teritorium. As an Australian I'm obviously very proud of the sacrifice made by our ancient Roman brothers in the sky over our Northern reaches. Incontinentia buttocks my friends, incontinentia buttocks.😊

Cool as always. 👍

Maybe they brought the turret forward because of the centre of gravity. Turrets were weighty pieces of kit and relocation of the turret would make the aircraft handle better. Just my opinion 😊

Matt has inspired me to paint figures for the !/35 armor, which gives perspective. 1/48 figures for planes work for a diorama, but not to put on the airplane, less figures for 1/48 than 1/35. Start with a figure that is a little larger is a goos starting place.

Rigging, Airfix had a similar system for rigging the main wing of the Handley Page 0/400 WW1 bomber way back in the 1980's.

As far as Airfix. At least you have a kit manufacturer in the UK making great kits. Here in the USA we rely on foreign countries to make good kits because no one here makes anything worth building. The USA is a plastic model manufacturer dessert. Just saying
