Welcome! I am so excited to join the community of Flosstube! My content is for seasoned and beginner needleworkers. Please stop in and get to know a little bit about me and my love of stitching and quilting.

Great first video. Looking forward to more! I was a Pampered Chef Consultant for 8 years so I LOVE LOVE LOVE all things PC..That’s practically all I have in my kitchen . Full sets of stoneware and cooking pots/pans. Those trivets were a great find…Hi from Central Arkansas🙋🏼‍♀️…. My LNS is Shepherds Needle that’s less than 20min from my house! 🤭

hi Jill I love quilting too - I have a you tube channel on quilting with the Cutie Frame ( the closet quilter ) and I’m recently getting into cross stitching. Do you ever use your cross stitch in your quilts? I’m wondering how to incorporate my finished xstitches into my quilts - One idea I had was to put one of them on the backing . For instance I’m working on Summer Sweets Pin-keep by Scattered Seed Samplers and am planning on putting it on the back of a quilt I’m going to be making. It’s stitched on Lugana which as I understand is part polyester and cotton?? So would you suggest I wash the quilt fabric to help with shrinking issues? Oh btw I am going to use Wool as batting and I quilt pretty heavily:) Thanks for this great flosstube :).

Thank you! I love the idea of incorporating quilting with cross stitch. What about framing the stitching in the center of blocks for the front of a quilt? Perhaps a wall hanging that doesn’t need a wash? Or if it needs to be washed, send it to the dry cleaners? Kimmy and I embroidered squares and sewed them into blocks in a quilt for my parents wedding anniversary. ❤️
