You're doing a great job! To make your older blocks blend with the new ones add one of the newer fabrics to each of the four blocks. The added thickness will be of no consequence.

a little tip about threading a needle (that works for me) ; put a little piece of light-coloured paper behind the hole, so you can see the hole much better. I hope it can help Arne.

Arne if you hold a small piece of white paper or card behind the needle on the machine it is much easier to see the eye and thread the needle. I have been using this technique since I heard about it and it really works

The white fabric with the black diamond and yellow center matched to the black background with yellow daisies with yellow center - I see this done in "picture frame" around a single stitchery piece or print with a singular design = as a pillow! I want to jump in and start sewing, too! Great episode - really inspiring!

Great job fellows! Funny how you talk about how much you love your Japanese scissors ! I just bought Kai 7000 series tailor shears (vanadium version) - and they are life changing exquisite! One cut and I threw out my rotary cutters which always got knocked up and expensive over time. Never going back!!!! Kai Kai always Kai!!! ❤😂🎉

Honestly, the ironing board isn't too small. I have a small one for smaller projects like quilting squares. I only use my full size for ironing fabric yardage and garments for the most part. Nice job on the squares.

Ong I used to do this technique in the 80s. Love it. Just an idea use one of yr new fabrics to sew a little circle/triangle on top of original squares...helps bring them all together...I use this technique to make bags. 😊😊😊😊

I want to do a fall quilt with some Halloween, leaves, and Thanksgiving theme items. I can see this working so well and being much easier with the improve instead of cutting and following patterns. I also want to do one for Christmas in fantastical Seuss Grinch pieces. I'm sure it would be as much fun. By the way, I'm still looking for your fabric in the states. If anyone knows a shop carrying it, please tag. I just love it. It's perfect for quilting!

Even the tiniest piece of fabric sewn by hand can be used to make a crazy quilt for the doll house or a crazy pattern on a doll cabinet using Mod Podge.
