Thank you for the video. I am so glad you had a good time in New York. My mom's birthday is 9-11, and she was staying in New Jersey with her grandson she raised. He was on his way to work in the New York Harbor when his boss called and s3nt him home because the planes started hitting buildings. That was not a good birthday for my mom. I am so glad you had a great time there. Anyone visiting, I hope, has a good time. When New York can't handle their big snow storms, they truck it out of the city. I love your buying and stitching.

Hi Lynn, first let me offer condolences for your nephew. It’s sad when people die young -thanks for all your pictures. Glad you had a great time in New York. It was terribly cold that weekend. I luckily escaped from the city for a few days so I did miss some of the cold. You obviously had a great time. Hope hope you have a good few weeks of stitching -cheers!

It sounds like you had a terrific trip!! It's great you were able to find some patterns you couldn't get before. You and your husband really packed in a lot in such a short period of time. I'm happy you were able to see so many things. I love seeing your photography from your walks and you really captured so many great photos from New York City. I was in New York City once before 911. Hi Lynn... I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip to NYC. Yes, we've been having quite unseasonably cold weather this year....some sort of polar vortex. You really covered a lot of ground in your short stay! I'm glad you made it to Born to Stitch. I would have liked to try to meet up with you, but the schedule just wouldn't allow it☹️. So glad you had a great time in NYC. My high school,years were spent living in a suburb of the city, my father worked in a business on Park Avenue. I had several friends n ok Ed in theater work so we went to shows in the city with the stars of yesteryear. It was special. Thank you for mentioning the 9/11 memorial. We must not forget. I have family directly affected by it. Yes, we must be kind to one another. It is sometimes difficult to say the least, but, somehow we must be aware of others trials and tribulations as well as our own. Thanks for being you.

So brave to ride the subway. Glad you made it safely. Love your stitching and pictures. I'm traveling to Oxford by way of London in May. Any problems with scissors or needles? Any stitchery shops in or near Oxford? You made some great buys in New Jersey, and didn't have to pay for shipping!

Hi. Its a funny old world. I was just watching her on you tube the other day, shes the lady thats into Springsteen. I realised when you described the shop. Ive never bought from 123 stitch.. how do you find the postage, im always wondering for patterns do you get charges on top of postage, vat or customs? Really enjoyedd seeing all your charts and stitching and your holiday 🙂❤️.

Thanks! 123Stitch charge around $5 postage to the UK and you don’t get charged customs unless you’re spending more than about $130.

I usually do 2 over 2, but it depends on what the chart calls for.

Condolence Lynn on your nephew just wondering what hotel did you stay in New York city and did you have to paid extra taxes at the hotel ❤ you videos thanks Lynn

Hi! I stayed at the Lexington Hotel on Lexington Avenue, and we had to pay $35 a night destination charge, but you got it back if you used certain facilities at the hotel.
