It is fun to see all your projects - so much variety and the different ways of stitching are always a conundrum to decide upon. I too enjoy your reviews of books and movies. Bring it on!

Thank you so much. And thanks for the input on the content. Yeah I think it's good too to change up the way your working on piece from time to time, especially these big full coverage projects. Keeps them exciting to work on.

Hey new stitchy friend! 👋 Thank you so much for the shout out! Glad to see you have Amber from Amethyst Rain on there, too, right up your ally! I think it'd be awesome to have books and movies at the end. When you talk about what you like and are passionate about, you'll find your people 🙂

I enjoyed seeing your wips. Did a double take when I saw cheese delivery, thought only Flossabilities and myself were doing that one! You decide on the content of your channel, it’s whatever you want it to be. Happy stitching 🧵🧵🪡🪡

Thank you! I love Cheese Delivery and I really enjoy stitching on it. I actually have your channel pulled up in another browser tab as one to check out from a shout out on another video I was watching, so it was cool to see a comment come in from you. Thanks for dropping by and for commenting.

I'll definitely stick around for your book and film review portion! Thanks for the shout-out!🥳🤘 Stitching Moon told me about right after I got back from vacation, thankfully! I wasn't looking at Flosstube while driving all week. 😲

All those HAED's are epic ! My head would explode having that many as WIP's. I applaud your multitasking abilities....and also that diagonal pattern stitching looks awesome. Maybe I'd like that for full coverage one of these days too. 🤔
@shaunpstitches3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've gone a little crazy with the HAED starts LOL. But I figure I'll never have the time to stitch everything I want to stitch to full completion, especially since I was 40 when I started stitching, so I might as well enjoy stitching on the things I like and want to stitch on now. I'd rather enjoy stitching on something even a little bit than regret never getting it started.

Awesome projects as usual. I bought Universal Monsters and Chopping Mail back when they came out and never started them. My stitching is still so slumpy! I did start the Cryptic SAL which I’m hoping to keep up with. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I watch whatever you put in this space so personally I say just do it how you want to do it, whatever works for your schedule and time. Happy stitching!

Thank you Crystal! I appreciate the support. My fabric for Cryptid should be here in a couple days, so I will be jumping right in to get at least the top part of the frame done before the first cryptid comes out in Sept. I am hoping to keep up with that one. With it being weekly release I think they will be small enough to manage.

Just found you and enjoyed your video. Fire Poppies is a wonderful shop! I have visited them in person and I have ordered on line. They are extremely helpful and respond quickly. Have no concerns.

I don't know anyone IRL who stitches either. Probably why I have subscribed to over 100 Flosstubers lol. I don't mind if you want to add books & movies onto the end of your videos. I won't promise to watch all of them to the end but if I'm busy stitching away I will just let the video play anyway. I enjoy seeing yr progress on your wips. I only have two wips on the go. During the day I stitch on a full coverage - Chance Encounter by Nene Thomas (almost finished page 8/48), and in the evening I work on a non-full coverage. Right now that is Stoney Creek's Winter Bell Pull (working on the letter T). When I finish page 8 of Chance Encounter, I will be putting it away and I will start Magik Forest by Ciro Marchetti, charted by HAED. I will do the first 7/96 pages on the left side then switch back to Chance Encounter! That will be my 'rotation' (if you can call it one). I look forward to your next video! Take care & happy stitching.
@shaunpstitches3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Absolutely, if you want to stop watching after the stitching that is your prerogative and I take no offense. I love Ciro Marchetti's artwork. Sounds like a good rotation. I like that idea of splitting the day like that.

Use 40 count over two. Looks so much better and is easier to stitch on instead of over-one on 28 or 25.
@shaunpstitches3 жыл бұрын
I have been hearing in a few videos lately of people preferring 40 ct even over 32. I will definitely have to give it a try. I am hoping the called for 40 ct for Halloween At Hawk Run Hollow is back in stock soon.

I enjoy having book and movie content at the end of videos… gives me new ideas for things I might not otherwise find. But the most important thing is to do what keeps you happy and making videos! Glad you’ll be joining the cryptid SAL! Someday I’d like to back and do Universal Monsters. Yours looks great. Thank you so much for the mention! I was not expecting that. I really enjoy watching your videos as well, even though I’m a little behind right now. Have a great week!

You are most welcome! Thanks for the input on the content. I am really thinking that is the way I am going to go. Yes my fabric came in last night for the Cryptid SAL so I'm getting moving on the frame, which so far as been fun to stitch.

New subscriber, just found you! I like the idea of the books at the end. I like to hear about what people are reading too, but others may not. A lot of flosstubers do that extra content stuff at the end. I am a sucker for the witchy stitcher sals. Started with the Chopping Mall and fell off the wagon right at the end so it is still not done. Bought the universal monsters way after it was a sal and still have that one going as well. Just started the cyptid sal and probably won't get the boarder done but I at least have the top left corner ready.

Awesome! I am happy you found me. Thanks for the sub! Thank you too for the feedback on the book/film content. That seems to be the overwhelming opinion and what I think I'm going to do starting this week. The Witchy Stitcher has some great stuff and I'm already having a lot of fun with just the frame of the Cryptid SAL. Looking forward to seeing the first Cryptid on the 3rd.

Hi Shaun. I think it makes sense to add books and movies at the end. Have you contacted Stitch'N Time here in Saginaw about expo charts? I don't know if they're ordering but it's worth asking them. I haven't stopped into their store since moving back to MI since I'm just working on my WIPs right now. Good progress on your pieces! Do you need to rename the cat Houdini? 😆
@shaunpstitches3 жыл бұрын
Hey Kim!! Good to hear from you! I did not know about Stitch'N Time, Saginaw is only about an hour and a half from me so maybe I'll go check them out sometime if I'm out that way for something. Haven't been though since my Sister In Law's wedding several years ago, she got married in Frankenmuth. The Fenton store is only about 40 minutes me but it's just in a direction I never go. It's NW of me and everything I do is SE of me. The cat, what happened was I locked the wrong side of the cat door.

Another good video. How do you rotate or choose what to stitch on? I tend to work on a piece for around three days then need a change. If you have enough wips then it’s a while until you go back to a piece and it feels nice to revisit it then.
@shaunpstitches3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. For the most part I just stitch on whatever I feel like stitching on that day, or that hour LOL.
