Hi Erica, Thank you for this giveaway... Love anything Lizzie Kate 😊😊. I really enjoy your videos and love your cross stitch and quilting projects. I would love to venture into the world of quilting. The fiber craft that I haven’t tried to master yet is crochet so I guess that would be the one I’d choose to learn if I had time. I cross stitch, knit, spin yarn (and occasionally process a raw sheep fleece to spin), quilt and attempt to sew basic clothes. To many hobbies so little time. I’ve never stitched a Lizzie Kate pattern so those would be fun.

Oh my gosh - knitting! I crochet and thought it couldn't be to hard to teach myself to knit. So I kitted maybe 3 big projects, but no, I haven't been able to connect to it. It's ok, quilting, crochet, embroidery, and x stitch are enough to keep me busy. 🤣

Great video as always! Knitting is one that I can only do the basic stitch. My mom used to knit all the time and made us sweaters and hats, but she was right handed and I am left and I just could not get the hang of it. Also crochet the same thing. That is why I stick with cross stitch. I love watching floss tube videos where you talk about family and life events it make me get to know the person better, so please continue doing what you are doing. Till next time have a great week.

When my son was two and being potty trained, we were out shopping and queuing to pay, when he shouted, "mummy, I've poo'd in my pants!" He's 31 now, lol. It's a great story to laugh about with him. Hi Erica. Loved the video. Yr Christmas stitching is looking fabulous. Love all the buildings especially the church...co cute. I don't mind hearing about floss tubers lives in their videos. Nice to know a bit about them generally as well as their stitching. I always wanted to learn how to crochet, ever since I was a child. Unfortunately I never have. A few years ago....well about 3 years to be precise I bought a set of hooks, books galore and loads of yarn. I did learn how to do a cast on in crochet but that's as far as I got. I've even forgotten what the cast on is called and I probably would have to look up how to do it again cause I can't remember. 😱I still have all my purchases for it so maybe one day😇 Anyway have a great week, take care and I'll catch u again soon hun. I have no craft left that I haven’t tried, learned, or passed on to others. Question: is that miniature pineapple quilt behind you a needlework or a quilt? Either way, it is stunning! I would still like a chance to win the Lizzie Kate’s, but if I can’t be entered, I understand.

It’s a quilt! My first wall hanging. I used pineapple foundation paper from fat quarter shop.

I sure love your videos! I love hearing about your family and, I’m getting excited for your mom to come also! ☺️ I would like to learn how to do tatting but it takes time and I love cross stitching so much, I don’t want to give up any time for anything else. Thank you for the video, have a great week! ❤️

I feel the same, with the little downtime I get I’d rather relax and cross stitch then get frustrated trying to learn something new.

I enjoy listening to your family talk and would also enjoy videos of how you organize your craft supplies. I’d like to learn how to make a small English paper pieced project

I got some paper piecing templates a few months ago and they are sitting, completely untouched, in my disorganized craft room 😂

The craft I've always wanted to learn is tapestry weaving. I think it sounds so cool but its really expensive. I'd also like to learn soapmaking because I've been loving watching people make them, but again it seems kind of expensive.

I looked into soap making too and it does require a ton of supplies!

I would love to learn to quilt. I have a Bernina sewing machine and lots of fabric. I have ordered some of my fabric from the Fat Quarter Shop. The next step is to start sewing and learning to quilt. I look forward to your videos each week and hearing about your family.

I want to learn to knit and crochet. My grandma has tried to teach me many times but my tension is so tight I can’t do it. I wouldn’t worry about the kids not seeing their dad much at this age. They are too young to remember at this point. My dad was away a lot throughout my childhood. If anything I respected him more because he was trying to make our lives better. So this next bit is purely my opinion. If you don’t like it I can take it down. I don’t mean to tell you what to but I am speaking from my experience. Please be careful with the fasting and strange dieting. I was diagnosed with celiac before I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos as well. My years of abusing my body with working out, dieting, long work hours in the oil patch helped to destroy my digestive system. I now have gastroparesis, colonic inertia, and have two feeding tubes for nutrition. It is just over 7 years now that my body is slowly rejecting even that. My last resort will be TPN. Believe me, it isn’t worth it. A healthy diet and exercise is the best way. And sets a better example to your kids. My mom and grandma both have severe eating disorders, so I never learned proper eating habits as a kid. To this day I am embarrassed to eat out with my mom. I vowed it would stop with my daughter and I. Even. Though I can’t eat, I cook for her every night and never pressure her to finish what she can’t or what she doesn’t like, though she has to at least try it all once and have veggies. This has worked well for us anyway. Sorry again if you don’t like this. Let me know and I will take it down.

I appreciate your input! I have used intermittent fasting on and off the last 4 years with great success and it’s never been extreme/damaging. It’s basically just skipping breakfast (which is always unhealthy cereal for me) and having a slightly early lunch around 11. I still eat 1800ish calories a day; I just fast for 12-14 hours overnight to give my digestive system a rest.

I have always wanted to learn to do tatting. I fear it’s becoming a lost art because you don’t hear much about it anymore. I LOVE the family anecdotes. You’re about the same age as my daughter. She also has a 3-year-old son but he was just recently diagnosed with autism; totally nonverbal but still likes to take his clothes off. 🙂

Ok so this is sad to say..... I have actually spent a small fortune on a cricut machine and supplies about 3 years ago and have yet to get it out of the box :/ However, another craft I would love to learn would be pottery!!!!

I have one craft I have always wanted and even bought the supplies to do is knit. My Grandmother was an amazing knitter and she crocheted. She tried for many years to teach me and U just can't get it. Hopefully one day.
