Mattie, I’ve really enjoyed your first two videos! Just so you know, and I’m sure many have already told you, you’re not weird! You have diverse interests and creative outlets. Like you, I cross stitch, embroider, knit, crochet AND build doll houses and all the miniature things! (I’ll be very interested to see if you plan on adding lighting and how you go about it!) Stay true to yourself. I, among many, stay along for the ride! 💜

Another GREAT episode!!! I am 66 years old and have no desire to start another hobby, HOWEVER, if I were to, you have sparked my interest in your dollhouse. The idea of an abandoned house, priceless! I can't wait to watch you work on it. And, don't apologize for wrinkly projects. I never iron mine until I have put the last stitch in. My thought, if it needs to be spot cleaned and I have ironed it to show someone, I could be setting a stain, plus I hate to iron. Have a great weekend.

Love the video. I am the bookkeeper at one of our local middle schools and our councilors have been coming in to get the schedules ready for next year too. I work all year round so I see how much goes on “behind the scenes “ . I appreciate all the hard work school staff members do over the summer.

Love your cross stitch and the dollhouse! Way back in the day, we use to soak nails in vinegar till they rusted, usually several weeks. The solution would age bare wood, though different woods would be different shades of gray. We also would cut up the rough paper egg cartons to create bricks and stones. After gluing in place they were painted. It got so that I bought eggs based on the container that they came in!

Mattie, congratulations on your project bags. Great going! Next you'll be making them with vinyl fronts. I always helped teachers in my area set up for school when I was in middle school! Love the smell of paper, Crayola crayons and #2 Ticonderoga pencils!!!!

Loved seeing your doll house! I work with the same age of students. I teach special education language arts to 7-9th grade. I totally get not wanting to do the prep work. Having the students there is the best part of our jobs! I am learning that I am a one project stitcher. I have also learned a lot from Stitching with the Housewives, Java Girl, Helen D, and Vanna the Twisted Stitcher about finishing. They are often times way cheaper than framing pieces.

Hi, Mattie! I’m so glad you made another video. I’d subscribed to your channel after watching the first one, and even though I didn’t comment then, you did an amazing job! 👍 I’m definitely interested in your dollhouse hobby as well as all your stitching and crafting endeavors. All the WIPs you showed us look so gorgeous. I also enjoy hearing about your profession. Thank you so much for your work with the kids! 👏 I’d love to “meet” your fur babies, too! 🐕🐈 I don’t remember if you mentioned this in your first video, but what fabric and floss are you doing your Long Dog on? It’s beautiful! Thanks, hope going back to work goes well 📒✏️👩🏻🏫! Meline

Amazing doll house. My parents built me one when I was young. I still have it but I don’t have any place to put it!!! I can remember them (mostly my dad) building on the dining room table. Oh and they made 2 identical cuz I had a sister.
