Christmas is magical and definitely can be stressful and painful to some. I’m a mom of 3, all 2 years apart. They are grown now but I still work hard to make it a magical day. Just like my mom did. Perfect? No. But girl…when you do your best, like you are doing, you do not fail. You may think it, or feel like it. But you do not fail. This was the last Christmas with my mom (who’s in hospice care) so it was more special than ever. She made it magical for us growing up, so I will continue to do the same for mine. Cherish each imperfect, magical moment ❤. Happy New Year.

We surprised our girl will a Disneyland trip. We had some write a note telling my girls that santa pick one family a year to give an early big gift! And then we open the envelope and there were Disneyland tickets. So we went to Disneyland a week before Christmas. It’s still my girl favorite Christmas ever.

Fun video I was ready Allb to go to bed and watch youtube at 9 pm😂 ( long winter night! Hee Hee )and then saw your video come up! so had to stay up and watch😬cause I'd fall asleep if I was in bed. Keph my boys are just over 2 years apart it was "trying" at times for sure,😂 but also good they always had each other to play with that was before computers and internet so lonely to be a SAHM at times. Way back then😂 It does get easier as they get older. Love all the stitching Debbie so many cute things. 💚 you guys hope to see you soon. Take care and rest a little keph to stay well.

I have decided to pick telve blessings and work on counting my blessing every monrth for the comming year. , so I can gert ine Wip worked on for each month of the New year. and alos ones in my stash that have been purchased but not kitted. Also the smalls my daughters bought me for Christmas. and my oldest picked one she wanted to work on as well. Her new Wedding Aampler for her New Marriage. she has agreed to join me in my stitcing. , teying to get a circle started as we had done when she was young, and we joined a circle at the foror town we lived in at the library. but this one will be for myself and my two dauters, my youngest daughter knits instead, but would love to do that while we cross- stitch. . again Counting my blessings. I love that you two are so close nd happy and are enjoying family time. it makes my day each tilme I see you both smiling. God Bless and have a very Happy New year.

I love all the kits you got for Christmas. I have been watching you since before Lincoln was born. I believe I found you because of Chalk Couture which I also am a Hobby Designer, but the cross stitch drew me in. I used to cross stitch before my kids were born (34 and 35) and after for a few years. I guess life got to busy when they were young and I stopped, but you pulled me in. I finally bought some small patterns in November and started them while my husband and I were house sitting in SC for my sister.(We live in NJ). I finished two while down there. Now after Christmas I have been digging in my old stuff and found some old in process things, so fun. Thank you for the motivation. Love you and Keph together so entertaining!

Thanks for sharing. Regarding Santa, we told our kids to ask Santa for only one gift each because he has to provide for all the children. So if Santa brings you multiple gifts, other kids might not get anything. It teaches them about greed. I got a cold Christmas eve too ugg! Happy New Year.

I like to do my Wipgo with a goal of stitching 10 days on both numbers drawn each month...that take up 20days , and I can stitch on whatever else I want the rest of the month! That way the really big pieces I want to get finished still get worked on!

Just because something is magical doesn't mean it is real. It isn't. Christmas IS hard. There is just too much to keep track of and there is no way one mere human can truly do it all perfectly. No wonder Christmas expectations make us overwhelmed and even depressed. And yet, all this - stuff - isn't really what the core of Christmas is supposed to be about. Anyway - one of my grandma's scotch taped labels on things she wanted to go to a specific person. The only problem was, she and Grandpa lived so long that she would find labels on the floor and would wonder what they came off of! Thanks for another thoughtful and fun video! All the best for 2024! (PS: Debbie - use the aida. It isn't like the fabric shows, so why not make it easy on yourself?)

Debbie your is so pretty! I always enjoy a tour of your Christmas decor, you have so many beautifully stitched pieces. I wonder if they would make you a frame for your 4th Santa & someone else frame it, can't hurt to ask. It's sad that they're closing, I would have loved seeing & shopping there. Happy New Year to you both.
