You two ladies are a breath of fresh air and I can't tell you how much you have brightened my day. And in this goofy world we are living in you are a panacea. And how amazing, as I type this ,you just beginning to talk about what our county was founded upon and how wonderful our differences are...Thank you and a ton of hugs from Minnesota.

A highlight to my day is when I get to visit with the two of you. I enjoyed hearing all your travel stories. I so much want to go on a road trip with the two of you. Holly your match box finish is stunning. I agree it is so nice and guilt free to stitch when away from home and distractions, housework, etc. Anita, not only can't I stitch 1 x 1 when around other people, I can't stitch anything. I'd be frogging everything because I too like to talk! I'm actually trying to stitch while listening/watching you guys - we'll see how this goes. OMG, your magnet story has me rolling, I had to stop stitching! I can just imagine the new trend you have started, everyone will have one propped next to their stitchy area. Holly, thank you for always sharing and being open about your thoughts. I too find it frustrating that we have to guard everything that we say for fear of what others think. Tolerance has become not very tolerant. We are all different and that is a blessing! Thank you both for the awesome videos, can't wait to spend time with you again. Kim

There is another cross stitch shop about an hour from Sassy Jack’s called Cross Stitch and Crafts...they are so nice too...I visited the 2 stores in the same day and was overwhelmed with what they carried, but also their kindness💕...Stitch & Frame is my closest LNS...it is 3 hours from me...I am happy to hear that you both are enjoying your summer and stitching some too!....I can’t wait to visit with you both again!...if you ever visit GA, let me know 😊

You guys are so sweet! That magnet is hilarious! At first I thought it was a golf club. Haha! That sucker will pull the fillings right out of your mouth! I loved seeing all the Plum Street and Stacy Nash. Plum Streets are my absolute favorite. I'm so jealous of you, Anita, for being able to visit all those stitching stores. And Holly, you get to go on a cruise! You guys have a great rest of the summer.

Oh, I always look forward to your videos, and this one was one of the best! I was already chuckling over the stash stories and Boris, but the magnet took me right over the edge! Do you know how hard it is to hold in laughter at 12:50 am, when everyone else is asleep?!? Tears......I had tears! I wish that Texas & Iowa were right next door. I know I would love to spend time with both of you! Keep sharing the kindness.

Dear Holly and Anita, Such fun. Anita, I have decided that you are making a magnet ‘club’ cosy complete with a cross stitched hopping man image for your husband’s birthday present. I can’ t wait for the big reveal! You brought laughter and sunshine into a dull day. The visits to the needlework shops must have been a lovely addition to your holiday. Enjoy your cruise, Holly. Take care. Thank you. P.S. golf club cosies have always seemed a most peculiar accessory.

Now that’s a real magnet, LOL!! I had my roof replaced this week and the cleanup involved the use of what looked like a small dolly with a huge magnet attached to the bottom-for picking up nails, etc, on the ground. My first reaction when I saw it was, boy, could I use one of those! When I told my sister, who had her roof done last year by the same crew, she laughed and said she also noticed it and had the same reaction. Do I need to say she also stitches? Thanks for the great visit-you always brighten my day, and cause my stash to grow...and grow...😂

I soooo love to watch your videos!! I laugh right along with you guys! Holly - you remind me of me! You are so sweet! Remember when you are thinking about perfection - that the Amish intentionally put a mistake in their quilts to remind them that they are not perfect - that only God is! :) Anita - I cannot wait to see the progress on "what the flock"!!! I haven't started mine but I splurged on my first purchase of threads to do this pattern for myself - because of you both!! (I also lived in a world where I only thought there was aida and DMC until I found the stitchy community!) I hope you both enjoy your vacations and cannot wait to see you again in your next video!

Great video!! I loved seeing what you are working on, planning to work on, and hoping to work on!! LOL Holly, I truly appreciate your witness about kindness; it is so lacking in our world today. I often pray to God that peoples' eyes, ears, and heart will be open and ready to receive and give kindness from their heart; evil can take hold so easily. Thank you again, and hugs to you both. Happy stitchin.

If either of you are ever in the Orlando area please let me know and I'd love to come meet you!! Here here on the world's mindset. Hi! First time watching from Gulfport, Mississippi. Retired English teacher who learned to cross stitch as a first year teacher! I also Quilt and paint and I dabbled in scrapbooking, but alas, I too am a perfectionist, and after hours of creating an awesomely perfect page, I had used one picture! It was too labor intensive for me! I enjoyed your storytelling. Enjoy the remainder of your vacation!

OMG When you pulled out your "industrial strength" magnet I lost it!......it just so happens that my hubby just bought the SAME tool this week to "sweep"" the area around the sewing machine after my Granddaughter had spent the previous week constructing a garment. It's my own fault. I have conveyed my OCD about keeping track of my needles and pins lest the dog, or anyone else, gets hurt by one. My tool is Farmall Red though instead of green and it has an extendable handle. A quick sweep of my craft room found no needles/pins but several small pieces of broken staples. He was quite pleased with himself over that. LOL!

Phooey on napping and resting. Get your butt in gear and go visit the Cupboard! You gotta go! Or you will regret it. Have the hotel call a cab for you - they will be happy to do it and the Cupboard staff will help with a ride also back to the hotel. Ask the Cupboard folks for a cab recommendation. they will be thrilled you went out of your way to visit! See, there's no worry as you can trust the hotel staff's knowledge and the gang at the Cupboard. BTW hi from Minn.

A couple of weeks ago I was running across a parking lot in POURING RAIN with my umbrella to pay for the parking receipt to put in my car when I noticed some folks running for the pay booth without umbrellas.. It just so happened I had another umbrella in my car. So I went back got the umbrella, and and gave it to one of the women. Stunned silence and smiles, they clearly were caught off guard and didn't know what to say. I smiled and went on my way when the man who was with them came running after me, sans umbrella, saying "Thank you" over and over again and reached out and gave me the best hug. They were not from the US, and of course it didn't matter, and I am telling you their smiles kept me going for the rest of the day. I restocked my car with a few more umbrellas...As you say we can use a bit more kindness. and again hugs. OK this is my last missive. I hope...

Holly, I totally agree with you! It is so sad that the head of our country has made it OK to be mean and nasty to people. There is no filter on what people say anymore. I was brought up that if you didn’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. This country has turned into a mean and hateful place where people don’t seem to care about anyone’s feelings. At least with flosstube you can go to a kind place.
