You all are SO LUCKY you already have Mermaid of the Pearls! I'd love to stitch that one up. When will you all find out the results at the fair? I have 2 pieces in my fair here in VA and we're going on the 28th. Not thinking I am going to win anything but it is so fun to showcase the work and see what others have done. Also.... funnel cakes must be had! Allison, you're doing a great job on LOTF! She is stunning! Starting my LOTF blue conversion today! I'm sure it will be a successful stitch filled with fancy fibers (cat hair) and all of the cursey words. Stephanie, Barn quilt is just gorgeous!! 😂I agree just say NO to perforated paper! The only milk hills I’ve done on the paper I sewed fabric around all 4 sides and stuck it in a hoop to stitch! It was doable but I didn’t like it at all😂 love you ladies and I always laugh along!😊😊 I also say no to weeks! I have nothing but tangles no matter how short or using beeswax etc! A ton of no’s today😮 congratulations on your flossaversary!❤

It makes me want to do more but I also enjoy only having one or two and having them finished before starting another. For a flosstube university you could do a video on what qualifies a pattern as a sampler or Quaker. I haven’t stitched a Mira but I haven’t convinced myself to buy one yet but the midsummer nights fairy is gorgeous and I would love to stitch it. Especially since midsummer nights dream is one of my favorite Shakespeares.

I am old-school so I use the paper patterns but I found works best is the erasable Crayola pencils specially blue, green and yellow orange that way if I make a mistake, it’s easier to erase .by the way the horns go up. I I am glad they’re in the same division so we can have the red river rivalry.

I paid 5 dollars for 6 hoops and 3 of them were vintage. I was really excited when i found them too. My husband and i got free tickets to a sporting kc game and i will say that was the most fun i have ever had at a sporting event. I'm also going to start the october quaker in October.
