Great to see you! When you go to Canton, Ohio try to go to Little Creek Needleworks in Canton. It is a wonderful shop. When I visited it I thought I died and went to sampler heaven. I could not believe my eyes.

Another great video, Rachel-btw I just received Jane Parsons 1841 from Birgit (The Wishing Thorn). I bought the FlowerThreads for this sampler and Thornfield looks GORGEOUS with these threads! So I’m starting it on Sunday-after we clean up our property from the storm (we live in Eagle Michigan and got hit hard!) we live in the country like you do on 23 acres so we have days of work ahead of us.❤

I am glad that you are back and am so looking forward to your First Ladies presentation on Dolly Madison. I thought of you when I found an interesting book in my Libraries' book sale room. It is called "Secret Lives of the First Ladies" by Cormac O"Brien. I am holding myself back to read only the ones that you have done but it has lots of juicy tidbits. I so look forward to being able to buy your Hawthorn linen. I seem to always miss the opportunity but am sure that my time will come before I die.

I was so happy to see this pop up. So good to see you, summers always seem to be busy and fly by. Colorado Cross Stitcher is my LNS and I was able to meet Tanya (+hubby and pups), it was so fun and the antiques she brought were beautiful. Reagan's boyhood home is in Dixon, Illinois, a few miles north of I 80 or close to 88. Not sure how much historical stiff is in town, but everyone in Illinois and Iowa loved him he broadcasted on WHO radio in Des Moines, to he's kind of a legend in these parts. Just an FYI

Reagan is my favorite. 😉 I at some point will be back in Amana and should schedule going over to see his boyhood home. Being born in California, I think a lot of us felt like he was "our" guy too... lol. The Reagan Library is an absolutely amazing place to visit!!

Supposedly I am related to Warren G. Harding. I haven’t figured out how but I was told my Great Grandmother was his aunt? I can’t wait until you share your research about the Hardings. My family came to California from Indiana in approx 1868.

Rutherford Hayes home is the most beautiful ones I've ever seen and the grounds are chef's kiss! Lucy Hayes was so awesome. If you haven't been, you'd loved it! Happy to see you back! Have fun at the Nicks/Joel concert!

The elementary school I taught at for many years was named after President Harding. I'm sure it was named that because it was built around the time if his death. Yes, there's quite a bit if a scandalous story there 😂. I'm looking forward to hearing what you learn about both him and his wife! 😅. After reading a bit about him years ago, I almost felt bad the school bore his name 😂. Enjoy the concert!

Thank you!! I'm hoping to get to Dolley Madison very soon! My lipstick is my favorite shade I've worn since I was in high school! It's MAC cosmetics, Viva Glam ll I sometimes use it with MAC lipliner in the color, Spice. I can't remember if I put on liner that day, but I probably did. 😉
