I’m in awe of the thought, care and work that went into these boxes. It’s in my home office, and I look through it everyday. BTW, my daughter is fluent in German and Polish and is highly proficient in French so let me know if you need any help with translation in those languages. What a fabulous way to share your love of needlework with your friends! I love my box and was extremely excited when it arrived. It was my first package ever from the UK. The elegant red box is just loaded with lots of special goodies and with every stitch I make I will think of all the thought and care you took to compile such a tremendous array of beautiful needlework samplers for us to stitch and enjoy. I so enjoyed watching you open and share all the lovely items from the box. I love all the history you are able to find about the girls who have done the samplers and that you share it with all your charts. My great grandparents sailed from France to the United States as very young children and I wish I knew more of their history. My mother has a sewing book that my great grandmother made as a young girl. I am currently enjoying stitching Margaret Doyle.

Hi Nicola! I really enjoyed seeing these samplers finished and framed! I love love love my red box of birthday surprises. It took 57 minutes for the sale to complete and I feared your site would crash as my computer seemed to churn and churn and churn, I had to walk away several times and ignore it while it completed each step. I even ran a bath to distract myself! And of course, almost too beautiful to unwrap - stunning! Thank you so much. I am still pinching myself! I will be celebrating your birthday with every stitch!

I am one of the very luckiest people because I was put in touch, by a mutual acquaintance, with someone who had gotten a box and then decided that it was not for her - so I was able to get a box even though I was too late for the initial offering! I was already pleased with the contents, but this video has also shown me the personal care that you took, Nicola, for the selection and presentation of this interesting and beautiful project. I had originally thought that I would stitch two or three of these samplers - but seeing this video I now want to stitch them all. What a wonderful box and I can’t imagine only one person assembling all of them! I understand the charts are exclusive. However, I am wondering if there are any more Greek samplers, either that I missed or to be released? I recently discovered I am a quarter Greek. While it has not been pleasant learning my biological father is not the man that has always been my dad, I am still doing my best to focus on the silver lining aspects. Embracing my new heritage by adding a Greek sampler to my collection would be both an important kinetic and visible symbol for me.

Hello Stephanie - I am so sorry but Letters for Europe sold out within hours of being released. I always give advance warning of special releases so that stitchers now ahead of time. We have just had another special box released but that too sold out. We will have more in the future but probably not until early 2025. N x
