Hi Sarah!, Do you stitch your Winds of Autumn pieces 1 over 2 or 2 over 2? I am stitching Mighty Acorn 2 over 2 on 36 count but have been second guessing myself. Not sure if this is a choice you make when stitching on Aida.
@HandmadebysarahwАй бұрын
@@courtneyodau so when stitching aida you don’t do over one or over two like you do on linen. It’s just all over one. So over one on aida is the same as over two on linen. As far as strands go I always use 1 strand on 18 count and so that is the same as 36 on linen. I find it more enjoyable to stitch with one strand but I know other people who use two on 36 or 18. I think it’s just how comfortable you are with the coverage. I like the look of the coverage on one strand and i also like the feeling of using 1 thread instead if 2.
@courtneyodauАй бұрын
@ clearly it’s been too long since I’ve stitched on Aida! I think I’m finding that I prefer one strand as well! Thanks for the insights!
@pattyshadle8749Ай бұрын
Hi Sarah When u say u do 2 over 2 how do u do that
@HandmadebysarahwАй бұрын
@@pattyshadle8749 ok so with Aida everything is over one. Over two on linen is the same as over one on Aida. So one strand is what I normally use for sure if I am on 18 or 20 count aida. Does this help?
