Oh my!!! I didn't expect to see you back so soon! But I'm so glad you are home and on the mend. So happy you’re in good spirits! I was only down a week with no weight on my foot and I felt like that week would never be over! Stitching helped me pass the time, so I’m sure you’re going to get in lots of quality in your projects! Happy stitching!

@@ritah7457 yes! It has felt like forever. I’ve not been able to walk for 4 weeks now. That doesn’t even seem right!! It’s crazy. I have 5 more weeks before I can start trying to put weight on😞

Sarah I’m so glad you’re feeling well enough to do your Flosstube. Although I did not fall, I have a stress fracture in my right foot and am in a boot. It’s not fun and I can’t imagine what you’re going through. Keep smiling!

Bless your heart! I am not on instagram so I was not aware you had broken your ankle. I broke my leg once so I know what it is like to have to sit all day. I am glad you have so many stitching projects. My husband had back surgery in June and was walking in our neighborhood and fell on some slippery red clay last weekend. He’s lucky that he is only very sore. It doesn’t feel like Fall here where I live but wish it would arrive soon. Prayers for a remarkable healing. Thanks so much for sharing!

I absolutely feel your pain, Sarah! In May 2023 I fell coming in our back patio doors and ruptured my Achilles tendon. I had a bone spur that I didn’t know I had & it had worn a spot in my tendon so when I fell my tendon rolled up in the back of my leg. I have a scar from under my heel all the way up the back of my leg about 10 to 12 inches. They had to pull my tendon back down and sew it together with artificial tendons. It is not been a fun recovery, but I am 70 years old. Praying for you to heal quickly and to get back on your feet literally as soon as possible. 🙏🏼 you are my birthday twin, lol I’m July 1, 1954.

I'm sorry about your accident. I know that had to be painful. At least you'll have stitching to keep you occupied while you heal. Your bee is gorgeous! I love it. I've been looking at that pattern for awhile. I really like the acorn and Autumn leaf patterns. Fall is my favorite time of year.

Sarah, I’m so sorry about your ankle! I had a torn tendon in my foot a year ago so I can relate! I had to have surgery and couldn’t walk! Hang in there and keep stitching! Love all your beautiful projects! Sounds like you have a lot of support from your family…hope that you have a speedy recovery!

Sending good vibes for your recovery. I had an ankle issue a few years ago & I know how frustrating it is to not be mobile. Love your Autumn Bee. The colors really pop on that fabric. I also really like your Autumn Leaf. The blues are adding so much to that piece. We're finally getting Fall in my area & I'm looking forward to the leaves changing.

Very Nice Work, fabrics, such pretty WIPS. Smiling through your recuperation, with lots of stitching. The Textilly craft Fall designs are super cute. I've cut my widely spaced variegated floss to allow me color placement, fun to manipulate it to my point of view for the piece. Mine was done for wording. Agree, Convalescing is a major adjustment when it's for a long period of time, and frustrating, but you'll get through it. Hang in there.

Sorry to hear about your ankle! I can't imagine being g down for so long, but would love all the stitching time 😊 Fall is my favorite time of year. Just wish we would hurry up and get some fall weather here in North TX.

So sorry about your fall. Hope you heal quickly. I had foot surgery last year. Non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. It is brutal. I love Fall most of all!!

The other stitching Sarah mentioned your mishap on her FlossTube. I have been there (broke my foot) minus the surgery a few years ago. If only I had been cross stitching back then as I would have gotten a lot done. Take care and thanks for sharing your WIPs and finishes…all inspiring😊!
