My favorite stitch is the Assisi which grew on me...I like seeing the stitching reveal a shape with the outside stitching. I want to learn and improve my Herringbone stitch, so it is a relaxing stitch not one that I struggle with.

Truly love your videos! So look forward to each one. The favorite specialty stitch I like to make is the eyelets. The specialty stitches I would like to learn are all the ones I don’t know how to stitch. These videos of learning has shown me lots of mistakes I have been making in doing specialty stitches. Nicola: Thank you so much for sharing your talents and teaching us the correct way to do specialty stitches. My favorite specialty stitch is the checquer stitch, I would like to learn the steps of queen stitch. I have been practicing it but still not sure I have it right. I was fortunate enough to get the updated version of "The Proper Stitch" by Darlene O'Steen so am trying to learn through her directions as well. I am behind in the little ABC sampler but enjoying and learning through the tutorial videos.

Hello, Nicola! Your ABC tutorials are very informative and helpful even though I cannot follow them for the time being - I broke my left arm two days before they started... I hope to catch up once the cast is removed. In the meantime, I try to continue with my regular stitching by supporting the hoop with the immobilized left arm - where there is a will...
