I've loved watching these videos! Thank you for doing them. I would love to see some of your stitching in real life - I'll bet they're exquisite! Thanks again...

Glad sweet Hugo is okay. Thank you for these videos, Nicola. I'm so enjoying them. I've been stitching for years, including doing many specialty stitches, but your videos include so much additional helpful information that I've never come across. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

So glad that you were able to get Hugo all sorted out and avoid an emergency situation. I hope he continues to do well. Thanks for sharing the tip about lessening the twist of the Au Ver A Soie 103 for a softer/sleeker satin stitch. I just love a beautiful satin stitch! 😀

I’m so glad Hugo is well. You are a wonderful pet owner to be so aware of his well being! Thank you for another informative video. The time has gone so quickly, I was always eagerly awaiting the next installment. Thank you for the hints regarding the different Soie threads. This series has been an invaluable resource, one for which I am very grateful!

Thank-you for the tip about separating 100/3 into two strands for use over one thread. I did invest in the Soie Surfine thread pack for the over one on Hannah Campbell, but it took a long time for one particular color to become available. I will try this technique, sometimes you need such a small amount. And I have a pretty good stash of colors to hand now. 🙂

Glad Hugo is well. I really am sad that the tutorials will be ending soon. I have enjoyed every second of it. Well,ok maybe not every😊. Were you able to try out your millennial frame on the Potoky stand? Question: would you explain what stitches to make for the pattern below the numbers 7 -0 and the two symbols to left of satin stitch. Thank you for your help. THANK YOU THANK YOU for doing these tutorials. Hugs.

Hello - the stitches under 7 to 0 are cross stitches and either side of the satin stitches are Smyrna Cross. I did try out the Millennium frame and it did not work how I had hoped. I have an idea for another sampler with specialty stitches but it will not be for a while due to other commitments. It will be an original design and have 26 different stitches.

That sounds like a special sampler. I’ll be looking forward to working on it. Thank you

I hope that Hugo will be OK. I have an older dog too that needs medical attention. They are part of the family!! Thank you for the two tips on soie 100/3 and soie surfine. I'm wondering if you put two "solitary/discard" soie threads together and you twist them, would the thread recover its solidity and you could use it also like soie surfine? I just love these tutorials!!!
