Hi Rika! Your hand dyed fabrics are great! I'm always looking for 'white/light' fabrics that aren't glaring white. I think you will find a lot of projects that will be perfect for them!

That was an excellent video of Zweigart. It’s was nice to see their ‘patchwork’ fabric and other types of fabric. What an array of colors and styles of linen. Pretty amazing. Hope you keep busy during lockdown. Take care.

Oh my gosh! The zweigart factory would be so awesome! Do you know if they had wexford linen? That is my fave and unfortunately you can only get it through Silkweaver here, and we all know how ordering from them goes....

Nurge hoops are quality hoops. Although I stitch in hand, I own a sit on lap stand for the nurge hoops. It was a gift.

Try dying the fabrics you’re not pleased with again. If your not going to use them anyway, what do you have to lose? 🤷🏼‍♀️ you might get something better that you will use. 😜thanks for the video. Stay well.

mh, i've been there several times and no one has ever been rude to me. maybe they were just stressed out. since sindelfingen is not far from the french border the first foreign language many people learned in school there is french because that just makes a lot of sense geographically.

Lisa Wannemacher I’m glad no one was rude to you! The first time I went there was a nice German lady there who spoke great English! Same rude woman to me passed me on to her the first time I went. But because the lady wasn’t there when I went the second time she got stuck with me. Maybe it was the language barrier but I definitely didn’t feel welcome the second time around.

Don’t put pieces of fabric in a bin and forget about it. Yes, it is a learning experience, but you can wash them, and dye it again. The pieces will have character.
