Binge watched your last two videos to catch up. I'm working on At Home this week and know it will reign as one of my favorites. Hope your husband is getting the medical help he needs. My son was in the Marines (stateside only) and had to get out because it takes a toll on your body.

I'm late to watch and comment, but wow, what a fabulous haul of linen! The Smith Sampler is one I definitely want to see on my walls but I've been terrible about making progress on it, despite launching a SAL with assignments😢.

So nice to see another video from you. I’m stitching American Sampler right now. These Plum Street designs look small, but she sure packs a lot of stitching into her pieces. Best wishes to you and your husband adjusting to civilian life. My husband is a veteran and dealing with the VA can be challenging. There have been lots of improvements over the years. Please thank him for his service and thanks to you doing your part.

If you need a shoulder… I found flosstube from sitting in VA waiting rooms for hours upon hours. My husband was medically discharged in 2014 and I was driving an hour to San Bernardino, San Diego all the time. One rainy day after 4 hours in a VA waiting room, I left to find a craft store and get a cross stitch kit. Anything to keep my mind from going crazy… that’s how I found flosstube… I had to do a French Knot and I forgot; the instructions weren’t helping. I Googled it and just like that… I went down the rabbit hole. I remember watching your channel years ago… Anyways, after sitting in waiting rooms for 3 eye surgeries, 2 back surgeries and endless brain scans… I know what you are going through.

Rika I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby's medical issues! My husband takes two different blood pressure meds and they had to play with the dosages for him. It sounds like your husband might be sensitive to the meds and maybe needs a lower dosage? I hope it gets figured out soon! This is the time for you two to be having fun and planning trips ❤

Rika, you might want to see if your husband’s falling is due to Orthostatic Hypotension. It is when the blood pressure changes when changing position from lying down to sitting up and then standing. I wish you luck. It can be frightening.
