Your finished 3 casket sides are beautiful, and your changes to the final side will be very pretty and make it all yours. Thanks for showing us your stitching walls. They look great. It's nice to see Maria up there after seeing her in many of your videos, and she was a big one. Your idea about how you'll do Nicola's sampler and its various stitches sounds like a good idea. I hadn't planned on stitching it but after listening to her first video, I think I may. I had thought I'd keep a spare piece of lugana handy and do the stitches she mentions as practice if I haven't done them before, so that piece ends up being like a sampler too. It makes sense to take notes, though I'm less keen on doing that but probably will lol. Take care, and happy stitching, Arleen

Hi Karen! Thanks for another great video. I had also decided to make a how-to personal stitching book following Nicola's tutorials. I haven't decided whether to use a graph paper or a dot grid journal/notebook. Like you, I'm not sure how best to attach the individual stitching samples to a page. Mulling over that so keep us posted when you decide. Thanks!

Hi Karen! I think I might have to stitch up that Peaceful Kingdom piece to hang in my home for the benefit of my family members🤣. Your Mason Jar line up is looking lovely! I just finished stitching My Dear Hearts, so I enjoyed seeing yours. I've got Strawberry Fields on the schedule for this year too. Do you recall if you used the called for colors? I'm hoping to catch Nicola Parkman 's first installment of her academy this weekend. I think I'm going to use one of the stitching journals from Fat Quarter Shop for my notes. It's not perfect for purpose, but I think I can make do with it. I can attach small stitch samples in the book with double sided stitching tape. Have a great holiday weekend!

I agree that Peaceful Kingdom should be on display for all to see. A gentle reminder! I checked Strawberry Fields in my Stitching Journal. I used all DMC instead of over-dyes. I have listed the DMC's from the pattern, but 645 is crossed out and replaced with 03. I now remember that I didn't think there was enough contrast, so I subbed. I hope this is helpful.
